any idea of what to do with this broken mirror? What blade should I use to cut it?
Put gloves on and toss it before you slice yourself open and bleed to deathIf you just want a mirror check thrift stores. I get dozens of them for free that they're just gonna throw away
>>2966657it's more like recycling something for the purpose of diy, I don't even really need one
>>2966658Your local hardware store should sell the little pen-sized glass cutters for a few bucks with the breaking ball on the end.
>>2966659wait what you can cut glass only with a pen?
>>2966661Ok yeah definitely don't attempt this at all. It's probably best if you don't even handle it, get an adult to throw it away for you
>>2966661pic relatedYou don't need a very high quality cutter, mirror is soft and easy to cut. You draw a score with the cutter then you break the mirror at the cut.
>>2966661It's a glass cutter that you score a line with. Get one and try it. Probably be good practice for you anyways seeing as how if you fuck it up it really doesn't matter. Watch some youtube videos on it. Use a straight edge to guide your cut. Use some oil on the scoring wheel. Set your mirror up with the scrap overhanging an edge or slight ridge of material and tap with the ball end on the handle to spread the crack...
