so there is this room is next to mine, and my dad welds and polishes metal in it. We polish metal all day long, and I recently bought bottled water, and after leaving it in my room for a day or two, it had a strange, metallic taste when I drank it again. Do you think it could be lead dust from what we were polishing?I also weld and polish, and lately I feel nauseous when I eat.
>>2974046it's asbestos, you're gonna fucking diehow the fuck would metal dust get into your bottled water
>>2974046who the fuck polishes lead?
>>2974050
>>2974046Have you tried not being a wuss?
>>2974046you are your father's diy and your purpose is to die from lead polishing dust. there's nothing we can do about it, in fact we're impressed by his feat as fellow diy enthusiasts
>>2974046>lead dust from what we were polishinglol
>>2974046Im from a territory of former Yugoslavia, a place that decided to have its own engineering standards based on german, imperial russian and newly founded american standardsThe metalic shit one tastes is literal metal flakes on microscopic levels, they get injected into every human body and soul that walks thereThe standard obligation for such workers, mainly those that do precision grinding, was and still somewhat is, drink a glass or 2 of milk during break timeMilk has something in it that makes it easier for the human body to eject metal flakes troughout skin, asshole or breath, or all 3 at the same timeIm not talking normal store bought milk, im talking yeee oldeee amish type heavy milk, cow, goat, sheep, whatever2 glasses of milk and have your dad stop at 60 years of ageAfter that there are no guarantees
Do you have a multi-meter? Check the resistance of the water before and after leaving it out over night. Less resistance afterwards likely means more metal.
>>2975540>just have a glass of milk it's fine!
>>2975540interesting about the milk, what you might want to look into is "chelating foods" or supplementsIt does sound like symptoms of heavy metal poisoning though :(
drink milk, it binds to metal dust and helps you produce mucous that binds to metal dust, letting you shit it out
vinegar is smelly open a bottle in your room.incense burn cold making a languid smoke trail put a fan in the door to your room and open windows in the work shop move the incense around outlets and in the corners the smoke should move away from the high pressure of your room to the low pressure of the work shop identifying areas of air movement. it could just be a rare weather event, maybe seasonal window opening patterns, its weird you just noticed.
