Put it in the freezer then research taxidermy
>>>/ck/

>>2979935you can throw it in some bush and make a fox happy
>>2979952I wish I still had that pic. Well played anon.
so the feathers can create drag, so attaching them to a shaft with a broad flat face makes a nice hacky sack, i bought one in china that was a soft silcone tube filled with hot glue stuffed with feathers and aluminum cans cut into circles used to weigh down the tube with a broad flat face. this description is poor from the bottom was a silverdollar sized sillicone thick disc with holes off center for air flow, in the center a silicon tube about an inch or two long with a rolled edge, aluminum disk little bigger than a silver dollar with a hole punched out of the center the same diameter of the hollow tube. push the hollow tube through the disks center maybe three or four disk then fill the tube with hotglue and stuff with feathers.looks like a silcone bolt with thin threads and a bunch of feathers sticking out the shaft.

>>2979952>>2980040>>2980098>>2980256curious about the story behind this now
>>2979935>What can I make with it?
>>2980585If I remember right, some anon found a dead hummingbird and encased it in resin to give it as a very special gift to his friend. There was discussion on how quickly it would rot and be disgusting.
>>2979935Fertilizer, I bury dead birds in my potted plants
build a boat and give it a viking funeral
>>2980602CAST INTO THE ORB
>>2980098When I was doing carbon fiber lay up we cast a mouse in resin. Was p cool.
>>2980602Wouldn't that take a loong time? t.know nothing about resin
>>2981665the bird has trapped air inside of it and it's full of fluids, you need to at least preserve it properly prior to casting, but ideally, proper taxidermy..
>>2981669aah, yeah makes sense. resin in itself is pretty airtight, no?
>>2981680quite
>>2981669But resin is strong enough not to leak, right? The goo and such won't "break" out?
>>2979935Send that sparrow to Jesus so he can laugh at chinks with his ancestors.
>>2981737i don't know, try and see
>>2980637>I bury dead birds in my potted plantsI would be concerned with excessive mold and bacterial growth killing my plant. It's one thing when a dead body is rotting in the earth, but a plant pot is not that big.
