How do I assemble the best bedjet esque device? All i care about is cooling. Pls help a mf with chronic pain who cant sleep and lives in hellhole Florida and wants to die weekly.

Pls also recommend things for pillows or tell me if any electric cooling pads are legit.

Why not just get a waterbed? They stay really cold.

Have you actually done this? I had waterbeds for several years in my teens and early twenties and it was really hard to get the temp right. You’d think it would be perfect to sleep on cool water but it ends up being way too cold if you turn the heater down too much. Like chills you to your bones cold. Obviously too hot if it’s set too hot. It’s really hard to get them just right if you’re already struggling with hot or cold and they take hours to respond to changes in setting.

I can’t tell you how to cool your bed but I can tell you just getting a six inch inline fan and some flexible duct has done wonders for my wife and I. Our bedroom is small and we bought an adjustable bed several years ago. It’s really nice but we didn’t consider the foam mattress angle. It’s hot as shit.

I have duct facing out the door and pulling air from the ceiling of the furthest corner of the bedroom next to the bed. I hung it all on the wall. I got a cheap Chinese version off Amazon. It works fine. Made a huge difference in the sleeping temp.

Waterbeds are actually bad for your back... i was surprised to learn. Can you like the fan you got?

So if i were making that, I’d bring that dryer hose up through the floor and put the fan outside the room. Kind of neat though. The Japanese People have something like that, but heated for winter.

Although it’s unavailable now for some reason. It looks like they’re not as popular because everyone is buying something more like this https://a.co/d/08r0Uk2Z
I have a 4 inch AC infinity I use for a charcoal filter that’s been running nonstop for five years. They’re top notch and much quieter than the other style. This https://a.co/d/0bJnCam0 was the only one I could find on Amazon in the style I use. They’re cheaper but much louder. Both move about the same amount of air although the AC infinity style moves slightly less. You can mount both styles directly to a stud/solid wall although I have mine sitting on a shelf.
Just connect it to this https://a.co/d/09WKQPkd

Linked wrong fan. This is the bare bones model. They have cheaper brands and maybe they’re ok but like I said I’ve got an ac infinity that’s been running faithfully for years.

I sleep in a hammock. I have three underquilts which are modified commercial ones. I have one thin one I made myself. I can flip them under me or out with extreme ease. Nothing keeps you colder than a hammock. My body temp is easy to regulate using this arrangement. Its literally perfect.
