Is there a place I can buy nearly mature Bamboo plants ready to transplant? I want to grow bamboo in the abandoned park near me and use it for DIY stuff.
>>2985678A plant nursery.
>>2985713I didn't know those were a thing. I'll see if I have any near me.
Mature bamboo is ready to harvest bamboo,,it is a pain to transplant at that stage but easy to harvest. Anyone with bamboo growing on their property will gladly let you harvest all you want.
>>2985742How much do you think is enough to build a house and a boat?
people who spread bamboo should be shot on sight
>>2985678Are you aware of the laws in your state ? Bamboo is super invasive, extremely hard to get rid off and very very destructive. So be careful before spreading your seeds anon
>>2985678Your local garden center, greenhouse, plant nursery, maybe even a big box store, online. Just snoop around for a bit.
>>2985892>super invasiveOnly some varieties. If OP does his research, like I know he's going to, then it'll be fine.
>>2985892Yeah, Georgia has bamboo and kudzu already. The state doesn't give a fuck. However I plan to secretly grow a forest of it at a nearby abandoned area of the park no one goes to anymore, which would probably be frowned upon.>>2985946I'm checking plant nurseries I think I found one that sells roots. Bamboo is actually popular in Georgia so I'm going to try locally.>>2985949My research is limited to whatever you guys tell me without a second glance. If I cause the bamboocalypse so be it.
