I'm using a machine and it was taking about 1kw a day and since I'm off-grid and on battery's I didn't like that.
So I applied some isolation to the thing and the power usage literally became half.
This got me thinking.
Can I do this to the room I live in?
What's the cheapest option I have for insolation?

look up r-values
keep in mind going extreme with insulation can often times lead to moisture/mold problems that can absolutely ruin a house

you can do even better, insulate just your body (wear more layers and stay in bed all winter)
