>>2987099I have the exact type of lock, it's old style cheap stuff, you can keep the unlock button pressed and the wire slightly tensioned as you rotate the dials, you'll feel it when it gets into a gate. Start from the bottom dial. It's pretty easy to pick.
I saw something with a piece of paper recently, like slide it in on each number and when its the right number it may go a little but deeper. You used to be able to turn them really slowly and kinda feel it but the tech has probably come some way. Looks pretty cheap, just buy a new one.

Some of these have a hole in the bottom to insert a wire like a paperclip and turn the dials until the wire goes all the way up. They open in seconds because they're made for luggage inspected by airports and only serve to slow people who want to peek in somebody's luggage to steal panties and cameras and stuff.
