Some moron put the vent pipe through the room and i'm trying to figure the best way to hide it or beautify it.They had a fake wall there. It needed torn down because of moisture issues leaking down from the attic as well as coming up from the crawl space because they didnt seal it up.Any Ideas on what to do with this?
>>2989847Large wardrobe is the cheapest thing that fully hides it in a non-suspicious way. Otherwise you could cover it up again in drywall.
>>2989848I had the wardrobe idea too. I just think you'd be hard pressed to find one that fits perfectly from floor to ceiling.Drywall is likely the easiest but damn it looks terrible.
>>2989850>find oneJust make one or get one made to size. And even if it doesn't fit exactly, you can hide the rest of pipe much more easily when 80-90% of it is inside the wardrobe.
Fake beam out of plywood and paint it to hide the joints
>>2989847Drywall over the pipe. Then some hardwood shelves in the void.
this is just perpetuially holding water, can you please remove it
>>2989847I literally just dealt with this. I turned it into a shelf.
>>2989847Add a dozen more pipes around it, making it less likely that anyone will identify it as being the actual pipe responsible for all of them being there
>>2989910just stand in front of it and face the other way bro
>>2989884That's where the sharts are trapped don't do it!
>>2989884Oh I'm aware and i really dont care as long as it doesnt leak>>2989893looking good>>2989852>just make onewith my over 9000 hrs of wood working skills? The fuck dude. If i was that talented, i wouldnt be hanging out on /diy/>pay for one>over $9000no thats insane>>2989914legit facts
