I've got a bit of a problem chat. I bought a disconnect switch 100A used and did not realise it was missing it's lugs. I can't find used lugs and new ones cost more than another used disconnect.I think I'm just going to crimp ends on the wires and bolt them down where the lugs would go.There's no inspections here but I also don't want to burn my shed down. I'm also derating it to 80A and the planned load is 45A
>too stupid to search or check ebay>already know the solution awesome blogpoast thanks for sharing and making a new thread
>>2990802You got a local mom and pop electrician shop where the guy hoards old electrical boxes he removes from service? Bet he'd have a bunch of them kicking around. Hell I probably have a few kicking around.
>>2990805how mad are you
I meant to make it a question, like should I actually do it or will I burn my shit down?
