What old tech have you repurposed into something genuinely useful?

Old Android phones? Laptops? Routers? Raspberry Pis? NAS boxes? Game consoles? Anything weird or unexpected?

I'm looking for ideas that give old hardware a second life instead of letting it collect dust. Curious to hear what everyone's running. Bonus points if it is actually useful.

you can turn old android phones into raspberry pis by running termux which allows you to run linux programs. intel apple products pre-T2 chip can be turned into linux machines, and they can be gotten for cheap used. theres a lot of modding with game consoles.
It's really good to reuse old electronics because electronics recycling sucks and releases a lot of chemicals. Unfortunately there's not really much use for them outside of experimenting.I use my old 2007 imac to shitpost but it can't run any modern software well. its good if you're a broke college student i guess

My first PC I built is getting a new lease of life now, It's going to be hooked up to a TV in my shed so I can play Rocksmith out there and also look up Youtube tutorials when I'm building/fixing shit. It sat in my shed for 2 years in the box gathering dust then gave me all sorts of issues when I tried to get it up and running recently but thank god it's fine now.
