something about the even and round bulge centred in the right place makes her belly look heavy and full in a more organic and balanced way instead of simply jutting out further or being otherwise weirdly proportioned and how her bump appears to meld smoothly with the rest of her figure instead of looking tacked on is just so beautiful to me.

The ideal bump is one that allows the beauty of a gravid belly to complement and accentuate her figure without detracting from or dominating the rest of her which, to me, comes from two camps. One takes the form of a big, ripe belly that has swollen into a lovely even roundness as described and shown above (also see >>3027347). The other is when she's in her second trimester as her pregnancy becomes obvious as her growing belly is doming out out more and more every day but isn't yet bulging and her smaller bump is a more integrated part of her figure and holds the promise of much more to come (ideally growing into the first camp). This look usually peaks around the 4th and 5th months IMO.It's such a pity both looks are so rare in preg art.
Tiny bumps are also cute, but are some of the rarest of them all.....
