My issue with the interactives had far less to do with the stories themselves but the fact that every thread was 70% single-letter replies to the stories. This in turn caused any sort of image dump to get drowned out by layers and layers of posts that barely contributed.If there was a rule along the lines of 'You must post an image with your vote or it won't be counted' then it wouldn't feel like derailing the threads quite as much.But like other people have also said, I don't use these threads as a place to view image dumps so much as a platform for discussing the image dumps or browsing something a bit more curated. If there's a picture I really like I'll reverse image search it and occasionally there's a discussion on where to find better ENF.
