There have even been moments where their activity overlaps, lke yesterday around 4pm ET, and the night the whole thread was purged.That said, this doesn’t really change the day to day reality of the thread. What it does change is the "us vs. him" narrative. It’s probably not a single external bad guy. More likely, one spammer inspired or emboldened another.To me, that suggests something uncomfortable: the problem isn’t just outside the community, it’s coming from within it.Any genner, no-genner or lurker could end up doing this. That makes it worth looking at the culture here. We’re constantly at each other’s throats. Supposedly the goal is to share and improve gens, but there’s a baseline hostility running through the thread.
