Should I get this linen suit
I'd pair it with some Moma derbies or something like that
Yes it's a 100 EUR fast fashion suit because I'm a poorfag

Also general cop or not thread I guess

You are a grown man you can make small purchases without internet validation
>>
>>18514584
No shit but I don't know squat about how it should fit and so on or whether it'll fall apart after one wash
>>
>>18514580
It's perfectly viable. Most normalfaggots would even say it fits good. If that's all you are interested in and not some esoteric knowledge on style and fit get the suit. If you are interested in more however I can help.

It's dry cleaning only, do you even own one suit before this one? And do you have a use for this one? We're mid-august already.
Also, even dry cleaning it, it will probably lose a size, so the fit of the jacket is ok but the pants are too short.
>>
no
buy something of quality off ebay or from a thrift shop
>>
the sleeves are too long. won't be worth to alter it for a suit like that. the length is good though, makes you look taller.

What about this shirt from Barbour? Without the matching shorts
>>
>>18514580
like the others have already a said a suit can only be dry cleaned otherwise you'll ruin it, as for the fit of the suit it looks fine except for the sleeves which should be shortened (almost always the case unless you get really lucky) which should cost around 20-40€ depending on the tailor

also keep in mind that linen suits wrinkle extremely easily and you wont really be able to iron those out, its just part of the look
>>
>>18514580
Dont get eurofag spandex skinny jeans
>>
>>18514754
Not all suits are dry clean only anon. You can hand wash most linen, wool, and cotton suits.
>>18514759
This for sure. You can often find $500+ suits in thrift stores for $30.
>>
>>18514580
Wear a fucking belt, and an undershirt. A dress shirt without an undershirt looks gay. Your shirt shouldn't look wrinkled and transparent from sticking to your bare skin.
>>
>>18515996
No. Plenty of suits can be hand washed, and there are machine washable ones. Just don't be a retard and throw it in on max settings and machine dry it. I'm convinced you guys don't own suits if you think they can only be dry cleaned.

Hand wash dirty areas with something like woolite, deodorize with alcohol and water, maybe use your shower head to give the whole thing a quick rinse after, hang to dry.
>>
>>18515990
DO NOT. Go to your local discount department store like Marshall's and look for something that doesn't look like an old lady's rug.

Oh and people will 100% call you scar face if you wear a beige or white suit and tropical shirt. Every. Fucking. Time.
>>
>>18516044
I wear dress shirt without undershirts often and I don't look gay, maybe the problem's with you specifically?
>>18516045
The main fabric and lining shrink at different rates when washed at even low temperatures since they've never been washed in water, so this might not be a big issue with pants but you'll fuck a jacket up.
Even leaving that aside, it will shrink.
If the jacket is canvassed, the canvas will also lose its shape when it's saturated with water, and you'll need to be able to iron it back to shape.
It's a bad idea to wash suits in water, more so in the washing machine.
>>
>>18516050
A cheap suit isn't gonna be canvassed.
>>
>>18516050
You look gay as fuck. You just don't realize it. Only degenerates like sexcore faggots wear a suit without an undershirt. An undershirt exists not only to protect your suit from sweat, but also to let your shirt drape on your body properly without looking wrinkled and disgusting from clinging to your skin.

>>18517935
Men wear shirts, not 'tops.' What's next: "I'mma cop dis Blouse, yo!"---?
>>
>>18516066
A cheap suit might be half canvas, and a cheap-ish suit from vinted/grained/poshmark/the thrift store might be full canvas.
That's beyond the point though, there's still the issue of main fabric and lining shrinking at different rates, and I was replying to a post saying "plenty of suits can be handwashed" which didn't specify anything more than that.
People might make mustard gas based on info from this website, but I'd rather nobody ruin a good suit.
>>18516108
See pic related.
I can take different ones if this doesn't convince you.
>only degenerate sexcore fags wear a suit without an undershirt
Plainly wrong, go to a big city in Italy, France, Spain or anywhere where it's warm in spring and hot in summer.
>an undershirt lets your shirt drape without looking wrinkled and disgusting
I honestly don't see how an undershirt might make a shirt drape differently unless you're drenched in sweat.
Why do you think the shirt in the picture you posted would look any different if the guy had an undershirt?
>>
>>18516149
Cop.
>>18516548
Cop if you need something technical for cheap, but you can get something that both looks better and keeps you warmer in the extreme cold, though it'll cost some more.
>>18517935
>>18517939
The first is a lot more interesting, but they're both too wide compared to how long they are, and the collar is enormous for a polo.
I wouldn't cop either.

Cropped and oversized is trending now, cant be helped
>>

>can't be helped
They've been selling L1212 in the same cut for almost 100 years, so it can be helped.
>I meant it's in fashion so I must have one that's oversized and cropped
I'd go for the first one if you must.
>>
green or grey? cant decide
>>
>>18517935
cop the first one if you have fits that go with it
