I love the look of jean jackets. I The only thing I don’t like is that I have to wear black jeans or khakis with them. The blue jean on blue jean look is so hard to pull off… I just got a levi trucker jacket a few months ago but haven’t worn it much because I can’t quite nail the look. any tips?

You have to remember that this was what people liked during the whole hipster era. Also found a pair of commuter 511s at savers later. Mix 2/3 mineral spirits to 1/3 silicone up and then paint brush paint whatever fabric you want with the silicone and it will waterproof it without much color difference at all. And it's still washable. Just leave it outside to dry for a day and it's good to go.
