Someone please post the green frag infographic.

>>18527237Thanks.Where would Sultan Vetiver fit in this?Herbal? Woody? Grass?
Has anyone here smelled straight agarwood oil? I just found some and I’m kind of tempted to get it. I don’t know what I would do with 3 grams of agarwood oil though
>>18527240not herbal at all. smells really musky. like a ferret's cage. idk if you ever smelled that. not sure if one of the vetiver types they use has a really musky smell or if they add musk but the musk smell overpowers everything else.

Can someone tell me what the intent behind "Sport" flankers is?I understand that "Cologne" flankers usually end up being lighter, fresher, more citrusy, etc. And that "Intense" usually takes one note and cranks it to 11, while "Elixir" is basically just higher oil concentration but with the same scent profile overall.
>>18527257I certainly don't think it smells like an animal's cage, and the beginning vetiver + anise accord smells quite like celery, though I'm not sure it's the kind of green to be called herbal.>>18527416Making more money by selling a frag that's similar enough but a bit fresher, leveraging the "sporty" connotation of the name.
>>18527416In your thumbnail I thought that the melon was actually the cat's belly. I am glad that upon further inspection his harvest has been bountiful

anyone else notice the grey market has completely collapsed in the frag sector? my marshalls, ross, and burlington have NOTHING except the usual suspects like guess, brittany spears, and generic arabshitthere's zero chance to find a diamond in the rough and it's just not fun anymore. even decent normie staples like Burberry brit is now 45 dollars
>>18527416"Sport" makes me think you can use it playing sports or at the gym but flanker nomenclature is pointless now.
>>18527483I've noticed this too. The discount stores carry only the cheapest garbage, anonymous dollar store clones of bottles which were already cheap. Plus they're almost all locked in a case (thank you diversity).
>never buy fragrances>buy some eu de parfum>go on insta reels>i'm constantly being baraged with 2 of the 3 fragrances i got>"only cheaters buy these">"cheater fragrance of choice">"I smell these fragrances when I miss my abuser"Versace - ErosArmani - Stronger With You Intensely
>>18527483>>18527493Maybe it's the new thrift shop phenomenon where youtubers make videos like "Incredible Fragrance Haul at Burlington" so the secret is out and you can't find anything. What kind of stuff did you find before?
>>18527502>go on insta
>>18527507work lift shit myself insta reels sleep
>>18527416Mixes well with sweat, I guess. Think of sport like a “cologne intense”
>>18527510based
>>18527502Its just a way of leveraging the idea that wearing fragrance gets you laid so buy more fragrance specifically these sex haver fragrances. Do not consume fragrance content at all, its all rolling fields of slop as far as the eye can see.

Why is lavender associated with relaxation? this note makes me aggressively horny
>>18527506no arab shit. less unboxed frags.used to be able to find ck defy edt and edp - i haven't seen them in at least a yearstill see D&G but way less ofteni don't even see jimmy choo anymoreWhat i am seeing besides generic trash is things like bvlgari but the prices are almost what you would pay on jomashop and they never go on clearance so might as well just order what you want
Is this good? Looking for a coffee fragrance for men.
Which designer frags have a magnetic cap?>BDC line>Sauvage lineWhat else?
>>18527600It's floral and the de facto detergent scent for decades. I even smell real lavender and I think of clean clothes. We don't smell with our noses, we smell with our brains.
>>18527616the new Jacques Fath bottles also have magnetic capsit's mostly used for normiecore frags tho
>>18527632>it's mostly used for normiecore frags thoI know, I'm looking for a list of theseThe designer staples (or just designers really) that use magnetic caps
>>18527636here you go (it's normiecore slop ofc)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFz4xoq2wEU
>>18527637Huh would've expected more designer stuff like D&G, Boss or whatever
>>18527483blame tiktok fragzoomers

>>18527650Which is the best between edt, parfum and edp?

>>18527652I mean among the usual sauvages, elixir is a different one completely
Is PDM Sedley overrated? I heard the whole house is but a 7-Up / Sprite fragrance sounds nice but it's so expensive for a freshie.
>>18527658>PDM>overratedthe answer is always yes>but muh [insert PDM frag] is not that badno exceptions

It’s finally here bros
>>18527672Never been opened…
>>18527671thanks m8
>>18527626Interesting. Now it makes sense why oud reminds me of sunny beaches, because an arabslop that was gifted to me is all I wore in the summer when I was 12.
holy shit beach hut man smells heavenly
I just blind bought Imagination, BDC exclusif, and vibrato.
>>18527693
Smartest frogposter
>>18527446Your larping is what drove away perfumeranon, I guess his nose was so trained he could detect your poojeet stench from over the www
i just bought boss bottled absolu, im based
>>18527701Perfume anon silently disappeared weeks before, the crybaby who complained about leaving was not him.
>>18527672>>18527673v nice
>>18527672>>18527673beautifulyou should open it and send a sample to all /frag/ regulars
>>18527704He literally posted the formula to Dior homme intense
>>18527703>I consooomed therefore my existence has been validatedholy shit
>>18527658The issue is mostly the price, it's not justified
>nooo stop buying fragrances I could never afford y- you CONSOOOMER!!!Holy poorbrown cope.
>>18527710You have to be over 18 to post on this site, you are too gullible. You can buy formulas online, and perfume anon doesn't work with dior shit. God! you're so fucking dumb.>intense>https://creative-formulas.com/product/d-homme-intense-type-formula/>https://innosolinc.com/product/christian-dior-dior-homme-intense-type-perfumer-perfected-fragrance-formula/>parfum>https://archivesbendoni.gumroad.com/l/diorhomme?layout=profileFormulas are not the super secret thing you think they are, you can even get some for free:>https://fraterworks.com/pages/demo-formulas
>>18527737He created a few of Rojas scents ofc he knows about Diorslop
>>18527739That anon posted a basic formula you can find online, perfume anon wouldn't be using ingredient names from other companies. Fucking think.
>>18527743Ok pajeet keep sperging out that you drove away the best poster we’ve ever had with your incessant spam
>>18527744You just lack basic common sense and knowledge and jumped to the conclusion someone is Perfume anon because they copy pasted a formula. Here is the formula for The One:Iso E Super™ 155Hedione® 100Habanolide® 85Dartanol® 75Vertofix® Coeur 62Dihydromyrcenol 55DPG 50Bergamot “Superior” Oil, FCF 45Ethylene Brassylate 44Polysantol® 40Cedarwood “Superior” Oil, Virginia 27Coriander Seed Oil 25Cedramber™ 23Trimofix 18Bicyclononalactone 15Solgard® 15Cashmeran® 15Linalyl Acetate 15Kephalis 14Vetiver Bourbon “Signature” Oil 10Grapefruit Oil 10Patchouli Dark PA30 10Damascone Alpha 10% 10Cedryl Acetate, Crystals 8Anethole 10% 8Sublimolide® 7Florol 6Ethyl Vanillin 10% 6Methyl Pamplemousse 5Cyclogalbaniff 5Plicatone 4Sandalore® 4Cardamom “Signature” Oil 10% 4Ginger Oil Fresh, Côte d’Ivoire 3.5Clary Sage Oil 3Vanillin “Signature” 3Galbex® 2.5Givescone® 10% 2.5Basil Oil ct Linalool, Org 2Hydroxycitronellal 2Cis 3 Hexenol 10% 2Damascenone 10% 2Triplal 10% 1.5Mayol® 1Total 1000 grams.Does that make me perfume anon? No, because why would it?
Alright this 7 Cobalt had better be as good as you guys keep saying.
>>18527747Perfumer anon said that formulas online are very unreliable and mostly a cash grab to sell materials, like this one from fraterworks
>>18527252>Has anyone here smelled straight agarwood oilyes>I don’t know what I would do with 3 grams of agarwood oil thoughyou should get 1g, it's plenty
>>18527754I agree, I don't think he would ever post such a shitty formula like the other guy did.
>>18527756Still, perfumer anon left right when the Indian came back
>>18527758Perfume anon had not been silent for weeks and he posted through way worse spam and shitposts. I don't think he was the guy complaining and certainly he wouldn't post such a shitty formula.
>>18527755Whats it like? I don’t think this guy will decant a gram off his vial.
>>18527762He’s a master perfumer man ofc he’s gonna be driven away by that shit
>>18527770He wasn't a master perfumer, he was one of many that work on formulas, and no he ignored way worse which is why I know someone complaining about this shithole would not be him. The reason he came here was because this is a shithole he could post anonymously. He's not looking for an actual forum. This place always sucks.
>>18527439Same. >>18527616The feel of a magnetic cap snapping into place never gets old. I think the only frag I have with a magnetic cap other than Sauv Elixir and BdCE is Missoni Wave. It’s also interesting, I just went and picked each up, Sauv and BdC both lock the cap into a specific position horizontally, as in the magnets are on the side of the cap. The Missoni just locks it straight down, meaning the magnets are vertical, if that makes any sense. >>18527672>>18527673Congratulations Anon, truly a special item there. Enjoy.
>>18527774He created frags for Roja tho, that makes him a master perfumer. He’s not stupid ofc he’s gonna downplay what he does, just the fact that he basically knew every frag by memory and wrote in super high English shows he wasn’t just some normie worker bee, plus iirc he owned like half a kg of some super rare oud oil
Yeah the other anon is right if my memory serves me correctly he’s the ghost perfumer for Roja or something like that
>>18527770I think he left because of the new Chanel release
>>18527790I think you went from speculation to wishful thinking. We assumed he worked on Roja because he could never give information about it. A whole team of people work on a fragrance, there is nothing to paint he was the head honcho. He talked about his experiments into making longer lasting citrus notes, that is not entry level but certainly not what a master perfumer would be focusing on, he was more in the sidelines. Again we are speculating based on very little information.
>>18527801Nah I think Chanel has got their own in house perfumers doing most of their stuff, plus the new Chanel is pretty goysloppy icl
>>18527252>>18527755You may already be fully aware of this, but be conscientious of what you’re buying. If it’s being advertised as agarwood you’re not getting oud. Oud is infected agarwood and they wouldn’t advertise it as agarwood when oud is more valuable.
>>18527810The first thing he said was where he worked but he realized it was too much info so he was a bit mute about further details. That's why I don't like to bring it up. He mentioned something about the region where he worked but again that was TMI but from his posting times it's easy to determine where he was. I don't remember him mentioning assistants but if he did he wasn't as green as I thought.
Anyone familiar with this? Got a decant today and I immediately bought a 100ml because of how good it is.
Considering Paco Rabanne Pour Homme as a blind buy. If you like it, tell me what else in the same category you like so I can see if our tastes align.
>>18527815Yeah he discussed how a few of his lab assistants blend up his trials
>>18527827Irish Spring soap, basically. Don’t need to blind buy it, that’s what it is. Bogart (Signature) is similar with a more leathery take.
>>18527860We don't have that here.
>>18527829doesnt a robot do that
I currently own NYI. Would get Amouage Gold or Civet be too redundant? Also looking for an Oud fragrance, but without a rose accord since i already own one (Oud & Spice). Open to suggestions, but i am considering these:>Burgundy Oud Atelier Materi>Voluptuous Oud Francesca Bianchi>Notorious Oud DS&Durga>Erba Oud Sospiro Perfumesi also really like The Moon since i like the fruity oud accord, but at that price point, i may hold off.
>>18527881I'm not familiar with NYI but I have samples of civet and gold man and they are not very similar. Civet is an old-school french-style perfume, and Gold is very luxurious soapy-musky
>>18527885To me, NYI is citrus/fresh with civet, which i really like. i don't necessarily mind some overlaps since i like to change it up. i would use them in professional settings most likely. i guess i have to sample them again
