Everything about it is studied to evoke a certain militaristic sense, the large pockets are somewhat reminiscent of dress uniform structure. He’s moved on from wearing the same green sweater and cargo pants and instead does it more subtly now. He wants to remind everyone his nation is at war, and the easiest way to do so is wearing military style attire

It reflects the underlying issue why he was in the US in the first place by mimicking the pocket alignment of field jackets and coloured black to reflect tre tragedy of the situation. It's also more formal than the olive drab sweater (which imo did look good as a standalone piece though), as demanded/critizised by the wh before.My only issue are the shoes and maybe that it's all black because, as this image shows, it gets easily underexposed and looses detail making it apear as one blob of black.Arguably it's more /fa/ than any of the vatnigs seething in this thread will ever be because he is actually dressed for the occasion
