Feels genuine compared to fits and “___core” fashion nowadays.
>>
I mean it's not really genuine because nobody cared and just bought whatever

clothes were just shit you put on

unlike today's consumerism where every fine each is some kind of symbolism on your personality or whatever

Trust me. Those people were trying incredibly hard and put lots of time and effort into those fits. I would know. I was born in 1987.

I miss when women wore actual women's tops, and not literal men's t-shirts and baggy jeans.
>>

Yes, they were putting their own effort into the fits they created. They didn't just larp as a "core" "maxx" by listening to some social media influencer and wearing uniform. They all had their individual styles. No two girls wore an identical outfit. That would have caused an outrage. But today, picrel is not only common but expected.
>>

Actually they put zero effort into their fits they just bought the clothes on the mannequin at American eagle or looked at pictures of celebs in magazines.
>>
I miss the simplicity. You might get a hoody you wanted really bad for Christmas and that was your one unique piece and you wore it everyday. Shit is way too complicated and requires a complete wardrobe overhaul every year.

Not women. Most of them wear baggy t-shirts or or some bullshit compression gym clothes. And they don't wear anything like picrel. These are women's tops, not t-shirts.
