Pretty much the era in which I peaked physically. The term "metrosexual" was still being thrown around at any young male that elevated his style and grooming just a tiny bit. Didn't matter once I realized that only jealous men and women not used to rejection ever used it in a derogatory way.

Slim cut was still trendy and a great way to show off physique without dressing like you were 10yo. '80s nostalgia was coming back, but did not get obnoxious yet. Smartphones weren't mandatory to function in a society yet, so you could still use a flipphone without losing much capability. The HY haircut was easy to get and maintain and still let you have a bit of versatility if you were feeling playful. I wore Nautica Voyage which was still unique enough to get compliments compared to all the other really strong muskt colognes that all other men wore. I'm sure there's something to be said about elements of hipster fashion before it was cool...

I wanted to get one of these a few years ago but I'm glad I didn't. I'd rather not be mistaken for a palestine antifa idiot

Dressing like a fag isn't "elevating" your style. Metrosexual style was an overly groomed, overdressed gay style that only twinks and celebrities who had no real jobs could maintain. The whole low rise and pants sagging trend to highlight your crotch and flash your ass crack, was a part of that gayness.

It was circa 2010.

Sure, but that's not what I said, was it?
