I think to make it work, it needs to look functional, have something that breaks it up a little, like texture / a motif. And it needs to be layered right. The one on the left looks way too clean. The pants are too tight and the sweater looks too long, but not really comfy. And no layering at all. The middle one is trying some layering in the neck, but the sweater is so plain and takes up so much space. And with he dark jeans, he looks like he’s selling you electric bicycles. The one on the right isn’t too bad. I’m not sure about the short collar sticking out, as it’s blends too much with the sweater, but the sweater has some nice texturing and looks both comfy and practical. With the right jacket, I could def see this work. But with a motif knitted into it, it would totally work.
