going back to office need something to carry my laptop I didnt see anything on the sticky? are bags not /fa/?
I use picrel from Amazon, there's a zip for a laptop, it's great. It kind of looks like a Fjallraven, but less gay.Chinese really do know how to over-engineer travel backpacks.
>>18536776Depends on what you carry. If just a laptop, get a laptop bag or a messenger bag. I carry a laptop and iPad for work and just use pic related, it also has enough space for other basic stuff in it.
If you're willing to pay extra money for a bag, I'd recommend one from blue de chauffe. They've got some fashionable bags you can use to have your laptop travel with you.
Get a banker bag

>>18536899This
>>18536789does it also go on a bike rack
>>18536776Get a 2nd hand Filson for cheap and pack light if you don't want to throw your back out. Backpacks while utilitarian aren't /fa/ because it makes you look like a kid going to school.
>>18537533Yeah, because the bag straps can be tucked in and then it becomes a one handle bag.Cabinmax bags are really over engineered for plane travels.
are you guys seriously recommending messenger bags only out of touch millenials use those
i r a big boy so i wear bags now :)

Honestly the 15-25L laptop backpack market has so many options it shouldn't be too hard to find something depending on what features you want. Do you want waterproof synthetics or waxed canvas/leather? Do you want a rolltop, foldsack, or zipper, do you want an ugly rectangle you can travel with on an airplane or something built more for just beauty or something with more toggles for hiking. This one is rolltop and synthetic waterproof for bikes and motorcycles.
>>18537881Here's a rectangle built for carry-on plane travel. It has the slot for your rollie bag handle, then backpack and messanger bag straps, a laptop slot, and separaters for everything plus a wide access zipper. It's 43L
Why not a Porter 3way Document Bag? You can use it as a backpack when youre not at work and a briefcase when you get there.

>>18537987>That material looks very flimsy and thin desu. Honestly like costume quality fabricIronically theyre known for being incredibly durable. Families in Japan tend to pass them down by generation. Just bought an over 10 year old helmet bag by them today and its in great shape.
>>18538003It certainly doesn't look like it
>>18538006It really doesn't to be honest, but they definitely hold up.
>>18538006This is that backpack
>>18538009The zippers and hardware do look nice but there are leather bags with structure around this price and this still looks like really cheap plastic fabric.
>>18538014Totally fair, but with Porter its best to get them used since theyre so much cheapper and tend to be in great condition. In person the fabric looks great too. Looks nothing like those photos. Honestly, for work I'd go with a leather briefcase if it was a really formal environment.
