I love western shirts, I had a Levis one for 20 years and last year got another 4 or 5, most of them by Wrangler. You can pay any amount of money you want if you are autistic and want the brand name and some details, but any cheap denim shirt looks the same to other parties and gives off the same look.

honestly the main thing that makes a lot of western denim shirts look cheap is the hardware. especially ones with fake pearl snaps.
if you are a cheap western shirt aficionado and own a few its worth it to get a pack of high qual buttons and some real pearl snaps and the tool. all combined should be like 30 bucks if i had to guess. swap the hardware on them and they'll pass off as $100+ shirts.

Expensive designer shirts are typically dry clean only, but the fact that RRL shirts are both generally high quality and easy to care for is a nice benefit.
