This was way better than the baggy shit a lot of women decide to wear nowadays. Same for guys swimming in shirts two sizes too big.
Early 00s was the last peak of everyday fashion.

theres an old soviet joke that goes like this. granddad tells his grandson that under stalin the country was much better. grandson asks why. granddad says that's because at the time when stalin was in power, his dick was still working

that's you btw

Because women back then were thin. Now we've got fatfuck cows wearing baggy clothes to hide they fat rolls. They can't wear bootcuts and bell bottoms also because they have negress asses from overworking their glutes and thighs in the gym.

Picrel is how thin most girls used to be in the early 2000s. That was the body type they aspired to, not look like a Kim Kardashian clone with a dumpster ass.

major coastal city: i'm seeing young women wearing boot cuts and flares more than baggy and balloon fit jeans. the older zoomers seem to wear baggy and the younger zoomers + gen a seem to be wearing flare/boot.
>>
>>18545284
they're not the same boot/flare fits as the y2k's though. higher rise and wider throughout the entire leg. sort of like how 7 dojo fit was back then, but with a higher rise.
>>
I absolutely hate the pointy shoes with bell bottoms part, though. Same with the sandals/shoes with jeans look. It was so… MILF but Leslie Mann from 40 Year Old Virgin. Every wine mom dressed like this around 2010.
>>
>>18545286
This. Y2K/alt/theriancore flared isn’t like 60s flared or biker bootcut. It’s more like Reggie from Rocket Power.

Early 00s (and just much of the 00s in general before thrift store hipsters popped out, remember when thrifting was good btw?) were too uniform. Tight top this, low-waist baggy bottom that. Not a good time for men who prefer personal style over fashion trends.
You'd be very hard pressed to find the right clothes if you were aiming for a different silhouette. The natural silhouette of the 80s and early 90s was considered "dated", and the only thing that is positive about 2010s and 2020s is that there is no such concept as "dated" anymore unless we're talking about something extremely hyped on tiktok or whatever, but even then you have to be under 18 to care.
We're allowed far more stylistic liberties nowadays.

The thing about baggy clothing back then is that most people who wore it were either fat or just bought sizes too big, because their mom bought it for them to grow into. Rarely did clothing companies make baggy clothing that was intended to fit properly like baggy for skinny waists. Thats why it became uncool almost immediately when Hot Topic emo came out. At that moment, baggy was synonymous with neckbeards, niggers, and poor people who had to shop at Mervyn’s. I say as a 36 year old man that today’s baggy apparel is designed, if not tailored better to the human body.

zoomer women (and millenial hags) will never emulate y2k unless they adopt the low rise, that is dressing to be hot. right now they look like they are wearing grandpa jeans with the high rise and the tree trunk silhouette. obviously zoomers have suffered brain damage from growing up during the lockdown, but millenial hags should know better.
>>
>>18545537
There’s those fucking shoes with flared jeans again. This shit was what was mostly worn by slutty cougars who drank too much.
>>
>>18545550
nothing wrong with that. much better than wearing chunky white ghetto sneakers that make you look like a toddler.

ive gotten 7 morbidly obese women i know to go off their birth control and psych meds in the last year. every single one of them lost the weight and got hot within a year and then miraculously their depression and anxiety or whatever they were taking pills for the side effects of other pills for went away! HEY IMAGINE THAT!
>>
>>18546072
Underground stuff was for underground outliers. Unlike today where everyone wears everything to larp as some "core", people back then stuck to their own subcultures and fashions associated with them, because they were more individualistic and self-expressive. They didn't hop from one costume to another because some tik tok algorithm told them to.

High rise baggy shit has been out of style for at least a couple of years now. Zoomer women are now wearing low rise bootcut like the one in your pic, hell they even source old jeans from the 00s and wear them
Yet again /fa/ is seething about shit that has been out of style for a long time and encouraging trends that are in fact trending right now but they don't even realize it
>>
>>18547767
And did they thank you for that?
>>
>>18544788
in 10 years people will say this about early 2010s fashion
>>
>>18547771
of course, it's mostly flyover autistic shut-ins aged 28-46 on /fa/. socially crippled and out of touch.
>>
>>18544788
I used to crank it to the JCP catalog in early 2000s before I had unrestricted access to the internet.
>>
>>18547771
the zoomie women I see outside are still wearing baggy high rise
I'm not in that big a city though
the chubby ones wear those short crop shirts showing off their huge bellies though
why would you do that
ugh
>>
even skinny zoomer foids have much better curves than any of the models back then. its weird
>>
>>18547953
They workout more so they have a flat toned stomach with a nice round bubble butt

Berf cuntroll peelz + glute assercises at le gym

What's up with the southeast leading this trend? Something in the water?
