Goodwill is the main offender here, you'll often find clothes with tags from Ross/Marshalls and they ask for MORE than the other tag says on it. You can still find good deals at the local church run thrift stores though.

if you want to find anything of value thrifting these days you have to risks and go to thrift stores white people are afraid to go to. You might be surprised but you find these stores in every big city in America on or near Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

That shit happened in my area. A bunch of dicks went to the thrift to scalp and resell stuff, taking full carts at a time. The store noticed and started pricing shit higher, like a T-shirt that was 1.99 is now 12 and jeans went from 5.99 to 25. Once they did that the resellers stopped buying, regular customers got pissed and stopped too. Now the thrift stores here are gone.

My thrift store has schizo pricing. I've found made in USA Brooks Brothers shirts for $5 and Walmart stuff for $15. I'm also a reseller and I've found crazy stuff there too. Just last month I found a first edition hardcover of Game of Thrones for $3 that I sold for $250
