You have to assess each item individually in person, you can't rely on the brand as a marker of quality anymore

I have jeans that are years old. Jackets I've had over a decade. And I wash my clothes in a washer and dryer like normal. When people say "it's falling apart" after 1 wear I just assume they're pulling a reddit and making up stuff for upvotes
I've had clothes fall apart quickly, but only from bottom tier mall stores like old navy or h&m. the fabric seemed fine, it was the stitching that gave out. go up one tier to the gap and I haven't had that problem
