>Don’t buy those crappy mall brands!
>Here are some of my favourite microbrands!

>buy them
>made in turkey and indonesia
>falls apart after the first wash
>expensive as fuck
Most recently a Picante sweater I picked up had threads coming out after one day of wear, it was worse than something from H&M and cost me almost 150 euros

I had to get burned 20 times until I realized every brand an eceleb recommends is gonna be shit

These fits look so dated

Yeah, we are over the minimalist shit

I have literally, not once, EVER, had an issue with clothes falling apart. And I have zara and h&m in my closet. What are you people doing to your clothes that they disintegrate?
>>
>>18546585
mostly everything is made in third world countries now no matter the price. And even something being made domestically doesn't necessarily mean it will be better quality or materials. You have to assess each item individually in person, you can't rely on the brand as a marker of quality anymore

People dont mean it literally

Pilling
Knitwear becoming loose
Holes appearing in heavily rubbed areas
>>

Same. I see people complaining about their clothes not lasting and I simply do not understand what they're doing to their clothes
I have t-shirts that are 17 years old I still wear. I have jeans that are years old. Jackets I've had over a decade. And I wash my clothes in a washer and dryer like normal.
When people say "it's falling apart" after 1 wear I just assume they're pulling a reddit and making up stuff for upvotes
>>
I've had clothes fall apart quickly, but only from bottom tier mall stores like old navy or h&m. the fabric seemed fine, it was the stitching that gave out.

go up one tier to the gap and I haven't had that problem
>>
>>18546752
they don't understand or even look at the care labels

To his defense, it was before he cut his hair, so probably around 2019 or so.
>>
>>18546768
you're buying better brands, getting lucky, or potentially have mild autism that causes you to not notice these things. now days its not uncommon at all to buy a t shirt and have it start to pill and bacon neck after 1 wash.

>don't buy clothes from brands that are owned by private equity.
>don't buy clothes from most brands that outsource. there are exceptions to the rule (stone island, grant stone for example) who outsource but maintain a tight relationship with their factory and do things right. but most brands aren't like that.
>don't buy from fly by night "la designer" type brands.
>look up used garments on ebay/grailed/etc from the brand you are interested in to get an idea how they hold up
this cuts out 95% of the bullshit in the fashion market without even having to handle a garment in person or order+return it.
the rest you can sort out simply by knowing the difference between good and shoddy tailoring and handling a garment in person.
>>
>>18546752
Most of these ratards don't buy clothes in their proper size. Wash them too frequently. Wash them at high temperatures and wash and spin speeds, and then wonder why their clothes don't last very long.

Fuck I can't stop looking at his stupid fucking face. It's so fucking retarded looking and the effect is magnified when he, a self important manlet, does these slow mo model poses in his videos.
He is truly unique

Nigger, you're ripping off the same fashion these "uncs" used to wear in their childhood and teenage in the 2000s. You didn't invent that. None of the styles zoomers and gen alpha are into today are their own. It's literally called Y2K fashion.
