>20 minutes to make a lather with a heckin quirky badger brush, shave, apply aftershave and alum (since you're going to cut yourself 100%), and clean all that shit up instead of using an electric trimmer in 1 minute
Nobody has time for this shit. The only people who still use this obsolete technology are retired boomers and jobless NEETs.
>b-but I won't use a brush and shave soap
We all know you will you hipster faggot
>>
>>18552766
I said I wouldn't but eventually I got one. You're right I'm wasting my time, but I don't feel like the most useful person in the world anyway
>>
>>18552739
no way i'm shaving my balls with this
>>
>>18552766
I've been using one for years with only soap and it works great
skill issue
>>
>>18552766
>you're going to cut yourself 100%
this is what I hate about safety razors and exactly why I’m considering literally any other method atp
doesn’t matter how careful I am because one mistake is all it takes
>>
>>18552770
I’ve actually done this and desu surprisingly easy
bc it’s so sharp all it takes is the liiiiiiightest touch to disappear filthy ball hairs
>>
>>18552766
You know you can just use a spray can shaving cream and it works just as good if not better?
Just because you decided to do the full 9 yards for le meme status doesn’t mean it’s not superior

Fagboy
>>
>>18552739
I use this to trim my full beard without cream or soap, cause I'm too lazy for any alternative.
>>
>>18552739
if you manage to cut yourself with one of these you are a mouthbreathing retard i'm sorry
>>
>irritates less
I dunno i always get a few cuts. Feathers were absoluty horrible i cut of half my face. Astras are better but i still get a few cuts here and there.
I hate disposable razors so i wont go back but they seem to cut less
>>18552834
Maybe I am but the blade seems to make a difference to. Any recommendations?
>>
>>18552739
It irritates more because it shaves closer. I use my plastic disposable ones and safety razor interchangeably, usually want the close shave a couple of times a month.
>>
>>18552739
you can't buy black people anymore
>>
>>18552948
>irritates less
clearly not talking about naggers
>>
>>18552766
there's cheap soap/creme like proraso, you don't need to get that artisanal reddit shit. you can also use regular cream
and electric shavers/trimmers don't work for every skin type, they shave poorly for me and also irritate the skin
>>
>>18552865
>Any recommendations?
best to get a sampler, blades always depend on the razor. feathers worked with my old one but don't with my slant. I use gillete 7 o clock platinum right now
>>
>>18552772
This.
>>
>>18552739
If this was superior the spam would be unnecessary, the only appeal of this trash is that is slightly cheaper which is irrelevant for anyone with a real job, the savings are quite literally irrelevant for anything serious
>>
I have used this drunk, high, and one time in the swamp with nothing but a canteen and a humvee mirror. I am in no way coordinatined so there is now excuse.
>>
>>18552766
safety razor shaves are faster because once you have it dialed in you can't cut yourself.

>>18552770
get an adjustable and just set it low so it can't cut you. its un ironically one of the best tools for shaving your nuts. may require taking the length down with a trimmer first though.

>>18552780
get an adjustable before you slice your balls.

>>18552865
its the blade AND the angle of attack. get an adjustable razor. i have no idea why they even sell non adjustable ones.
>>
>>18553011
>the only appeal of this trash is that is slightly cheaper
and getting clean shaves without irritation. i can tell when dudes shave with plastic disposables. its very manchild tier to use those as an adult.
>>
>>18553011
>that is slightly cheaper which is irrelevant for anyone with a real job
and the ecological impact of constantly consuming and throwing away a disposable product made of low grade non recyclable plastics.
its especially funny when i meet left wing people who talk about "global warming" all the time then shave with a disposable and order their food from doordash.
>>
>>18552766
>Nobody has time for this shit.
Nigger, you spend 5-10 hours everyday on your phone scrolling through social media and reddit. You have all the time in the world. STFU about not having any time.
>>
I have a scar on my face because of it :(
>>
>>18553097
What do you use to shave now?
>>
>>18553100
philips electric shaver
>>
>>18553050
If adjustables are so good, why are non-adjustable even being sold?
>>
>>18553011

>Greece wage 700 mach 3 head 2.5€

Because of black people and the Jewish
>>
>>18553097
What are you, 5? How do you cut yourself hard enough with a safety razor to get a scar?
>>
>>18553136
I was travelling, I was in rush and the place had a bad lighting. Anyway, shaving with a safety razor is always a fucking ritual where you first have to soak your face in a hot water or get a shower but then your mirror is fogged and you don't see anything. I only use a razor to shave my neck
>>
>>18553112
because gilette owns art of shaving and a bunch of safety razor brands too. they try to push this consumerist waxed moustache redditor shit and turn safety razors into a collector hobby like funko pops and hypebeast sneakers.
you can avoid all of it by just buying an adjustable, and a sampler pack of blades. the only trial and error left at that point is just finding a soap that doesn't irritate your skin and what sort of brush works best on your hair.

>>18553141
>I was travelling, I was in rush and the place had a bad lighting. Anyway, shaving with a safety razor is always a fucking ritual where you first have to soak your face in a hot water or get a shower.
you have to do the same if you want a good shave from disposables.
but yeah i agree electric/foil razors are better for travel, or days where you just want a quick shave. you can't get close shaves without irritation from them though.

>but then your mirror is fogged and you don't see anything
rub some shaving cream into the mirror. then wipe it with a DRY towel until its completely gone. that part of the mirror won't fog for like a week or two. also your setup is too aggressive for your face. get an adjustable. if i just want a quick with the grain shave i can do it blind in the shower with zero risk of cuts.

>>18552739
I am asking it in /skg/ now but does somebody know if it's possible to make face scars less noticeable? Maybe needling + adapalene?
>>
>>18553164
Thanks fren
>>
>>18553159
I use just soap, for everything. As in, made from oil, lye, water, heat and nothing else. Surprisingly hard to find nowadays, though. The only places I know of that still make traditional soap like that and sell at scale are in Heidelberg, Marseille and Aleppo.

It takes five minutes retard. Also if you aren't a poorfag like yourself, there's plenty of time in the day because you're not wageslaving and grinding.

What is with Westerner’s obsession with removing hair from their cocks/pussies? Are you all trying to look like kids? Who established standard? At least Asian girls have the decency to keep their pussies nice and hairy and Japs invented loli kek

I would recommend Henson. Being popular on Reddit doesn't instantly make them bad

What kind of a faggot shaves his ass? Is it for the convenience of your girlfriend when she rams her strapon into your bussy?

Electric shaver is superior if you care about your skin over time. Remember, it's supposed to last you a whole lifetime. Save your super close shave for special occasions like weddings, new year's eve, etc. Don't build an identity around shaving ffs, grow up.

Weird thing, I get little to no irritation with a cartridge razor and cream in a can, but I can’t use my safety razor without getting a fuckload of little nicks especially in my lower neck area. It’s like the blade rides down the stubble and into my skin instead of actually shaving when I’m going against the grain. When I’m going with the grain, it feels like it’s not really cutting the hair, like I can go over the same spot multiple times before it actually shaves.
Tried both a vintage super speed and a slim adjustable, the slim is ok as long as I turn it down to where it doesn’t work very well haha. Might also need to be adjusted, it’s 60 years old and I feel like the blade gap is a little uneven side to side.
Got a hen**n and that works fine, although it’s not a super close shave unless I do a million passes against the grain.
I’d rather use the vintage razor and sell the others, especially because I prefer the twist to open, but I feel like such a tard trying to use this thing.
Funniest part is that I can shave my cock and balls with it pain-free, no razor burn, no irritation, no nicks. Apparently my neck is more sensitive than my ballsack somehow. And don’t worry, I don’t use the same blade on both, disinfect the razor, etc.

angle of attack way too aggressive.
cartridges will training wheels you a mediocre shave but they'll mangle you up if you try to get an actual smooth shave you can run your hand across.
>Might also need to be adjusted, it’s 60 years old and I feel like the blade gap is a little uneven side to side.
disassemble, clean, reassemble usually does the trick.
same for those qshave razors, half the time they come fucked up out of the box but you can fix them that way.
>Apparently my neck is more sensitive than my ballsack somehow.
thin, tight skin not surprising.
i do my neck with the most pussy setting imaginable and do 1 pass with grain 1 cross grain.

Which exact razor do you have? Not the King C. Gillette?

Adjustable razors don't adjust the angle of attack bro.

Which adjustable would you recommend? Currently using the King C. Gillette, but that company represents consumerism
