>best hair stylists in the world
>they have the most boring average looking haircut of all time or are bald
>>
Who hairdresses the hairdresser?
>>
I like the idea of a bald hairdresser. It feels like he's going to give you all he's got because he can't have it for himself so he lives vicariously through you. Or he will be evil. Life's a gamble.

I knew a master fisherman once that hated the taste of fish and never ate his own catch. I also know several system administrators/programmers/network engineers that hate "smart" appliances of any kind.
When you are a professional, i.e. you charge people for goods or services, you provide them with what they want, not necessarily what you like. Besides that, the pros get paid to take their time and make a supposedly exceptional hairstyle for other people which takes tons of time and effort, if you do it for a living you would probably get sick by the idea of enduring it yourself and on a daily basis.
