>>18562119Usually nylon or acrylic. Nylon absorbs a tiny bit of water but no oil so it doesn't smell unlike polyester which does not absorb any water but does absorb oil which is why it smells so bad

>>18562119wool sweaters should be 100% wool. wool jackets can be blended. cotton sweaters, hoodies etc can be 100% cotton, 80/20 or tri-blend they are all good and all have their place. the important thing if you want them to last a long time is look for a looped, not fleeced interior. wool garments that need more strength like t-shirts and socks can be up to around 60 wool /40 poly. the question if there is nylon/polyester is WHY is it there? if it serves a purpose like say for a cotton crewneck to make it dry faster bc its an athletic garment. or in a coarse wool jacket some nylon might make it stronger and less rough on the skin. or in a t-shirt to stop it from getting holes the first time you wash it etc. if its just there to stretch out some cheap wool, steer clear.
