Found this 100% sheepskin leather jacket for CA$360 but the price is suspiciously low and RW&Co isn't known for leather products. How terrible is it?
>>18562965>sheepskinmight as well wear paperthat’s the thickness of a slim leather glove
>>18562965Any leather product that's vague is going to be trash, if it was good leather they would advertise the tannery.
Can someone identify these shoes? The look like Nikes, but I'd like to know the model.
>>18562965>>18563301>>18563303Leather autismos correct me if I'm wrong but I learned like 99% of "leather" products aren't even a layer of animal skin like you'd expect. It's all literally shredded bits of leather suspended in glue/plastic.The only real leather is "full grain", the full thickness of the hide with the actual animal's skin surface intact
>>18563303What does it even mean, “is going to be trash”? I have 20+ years old leather belts, they’re made in Italy and they’ve aged like fine wine. Same with wallets that my father left me. Nowhere it was ever advertised the name of the tannery. This is just amerilard autism because you seriously do have a market infested with low-quality garbage.

I accidentally spilled some raw vinegar on my milspec jacket, is it going to be okay? I didnt bother washing it off
whats better, a ralph lauren blazer or a givenchy blazer? (on ebay looking at blazers). Or is there another house's blazer I should be getting?
>>18563892>confuses not knowing the leathers source due to hand-me-downs with the nature of poor quality goods correlated with lack of tannery transparency The amerilard autism is a symptom of shitty goods. When a shop advertises the quality of the leather, they become accountable and you can expect better goods and inspect the product. Other places don’t need to advertise superfluous information because the expectation is that the leather goods are already of quality.
>>18566480yeah >>18563892, if you get good shit it will literally say "Leather sourced from so and so tannery" and some even talk about how the cows are treated.
>>18566552The are places where leather is exclusively sourced from legit tanneries as per default. There, advertising its origin is often not necessary.
Where can I get a 100% cotton beanie? I know Arket has one but I can't buy it here in the states
what glasses do glowies / suited guards use i want that intimidating unrevealing emotionless professional look
>>18563882To make leather the hide is split horizontally in half, the top half which is what was on the outside is called top grain, while the bottom half is the split and is what they use to make suede. Top grain can then be sanded (corrected) for effect or to hide imperfection and is then called corrected grain, or can be left as is in which case it's called full grain. All of these are real leather. Bonded leather is leather bits mixed with a bonding agent and then made into sheets and possibly embossed with a grain pattern to make something that's really basically plastic but it's got enough leather in it that they can get away with legally calling it leather. I wouldn't say 99% of leather products are bonded leather but generally if something is suspiciously cheap it's probably for a reason, like $50 for a leather jacket is not happening for example. At $600 I'd expect an actual animal hide though, it's on the low end for leather jackets but way too expensive for fake leather.
>>18567974Anyone who buys an expensive new leather jacket when there are still billions around from an age when leather goods were excellent and genuine as default is a complete fucking retard or a person who can just throw cash out of the window without consequences.
>>18567984I don't want a leather jacket that someone shitted in thank you very much

Anyone know any good Canadian online retailer? Shit's getting annoying since I want to move away from Uniqlo but I'm always running into multiple issues with fashion>1. Hype pieces get sold out QUICK As soon as I see something on the release that I wanna cop, oh welp you didn't have 10 bots trying to get a piece or you didn't win the lottery sucks>2. Uniqlo has my perfect sizingif only most of their pieces didn't shrink after wash, this company would be perfect. Trying to stray away from there since my closet is just filled with their pieces though and I wanna branch out to more interesting stuff>3. everything "interesting" cost a leg and an armwhy the fuck do shirts go up to $500+, it's annoying because if I want something that pops out a little more I'm going to pay cuck money.
>>18571263stop buying hypebeast trash like a chinaman and buying into trends. develop a personal style and become a more educated consumer. if you wear something just because its trendy then your clothes will be wearing you and people can tell.
>>18571270but the shai 001 looks baller bro. I actually really like it. There's some other pieces that I actually like from the release calendars but "nope fuck you eat shit because you're not a reseller"

$400 for an Arc'teryx Beta jacket rain shell. Seems expensive but it's buy it for life....Or should I go with the comparatively cheap Patagonia Torrentshell that's ~190 dollars?
I wear basically exclusively jeans and other workwear type pants, but jeans are horrible at keeping my legs warm in the winter time. What's some good workwear pants that can keep me warm in freezing temperatures?
>>18571597torrentshell. shell jackets aren't bifl they delaminate after a while. 10 years i consider a good run but they could last longer if you're not a hiker. >>18571632corduroy*, moleskin, coarse wool, fleece lined denim. or if you want to keep harvesting fades on your jeans just wear some wool long johns underneath them, they come in varying thicknesses.* make sure its actually a thick corduroy not that paper thin crap fast fashion is pushing right now.
What's the best full cotton tees i can get on amazon? I'm hoping to grab a cheap two or three pack in some shade of neutral green or brown
I haven't bought new clothes in eons, just need a new dress shirt and pants, any recommendations?
>>18571597Those things suck. The thing that is ”waterproof”, which actually is only up to a certain point, fairly quickly and they are hot anyway so might as well wear one made out of rubber.
>>18572373also the "breathable" part of gore tex only works when the jacket is dry (when you shouldn't be wearing it anyways) and only in specific humidity ranges.silpoly rain jackets are the best. they won't get you killed like waxed cotton, they're no worse for the environment than a polyester tee shirt, they won't even make you gay because the polyester fibers are encased in inert silicone.this thing is ugly but it claps EVERY rain shell on the market https://timmermade.com/product/megazip-silpoly/>t.gets 12 feet of rain a year here
>>18570220Just start measuring from the 1ft mark and cut a foot off from your read measurement
>>18570220>but there's variation between all measuring tapes, even good quality ones. It's why people say you should use the same tape for everything when working on a projectits also why you ALWAYS see experienced contractors and carpenters grab the end of their tape and slow it down with their hand before it fully retracts. because the hook slamming against the tape measure's body will deform it over time and make your measurements inconsistent against another person's tape.
>>18571843Actually scratch that. I'll buy elsewhere, but i need tees (long or short) that are tagless, 100% cotton, and come in packs of 2 or more. And actually have more color choices than just white or black. My price range is anything below 40 bucks. I definitely don't want to be spending 20 bucks a shirt right now
>>18571843>>18572847Fruit of the Loom. Still the best decades later.
what's a good designer brand I can buy some basics from, ie sweaters and t-shirts? I've been wearing Uniqlo for ages but I've got more money now and I wanna show off a bit and just wear nicer stuff in general I'd go with Dior but they don't really do basic shit, and it's overpriced as fuck anyway, for some of their prices I could cop vintage Helmut ideally it'd have some kind of recognition with normalfags was looking at Hugo Boss but they're kinda gaudy, decent price point though
>>18573758PRL, it's cheap mall shit nowadays but people who don't know better still think it's fancy. To impress people that do know better it's either le old money understated luxury (Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli) or gaudy overpriced shit.

Could I wear a gilet (quilted? fleece?) under a duffle coat? I need more heat, but don't like pullovers, and a sport coat is too formal
>>18574230>Could I wear a gilet (quilted? fleece?) under a duffle coat?I think depending on your trousers the material would clash a lot or a bit with the coatbut some more casual trouser could bring them both together can't you wear a sweater?
>>18574869I can't stand tight sleeves over shirts and want something that's easier to take off when I enter the overheated office, train, store, etcI mostly wear ocbds, polos, rugbys, and chinos
Should I give up on the beard? I asked on /adv/ no one liked it. I thought I'd ask for a second opinion. I'm probably gonna shave it soon but does anyone think there's a style I can pull off?
>>18576611clean shave or let grow naturally. Anything else is trying to hard. MAYBE just a moustache is ok, but it has become pretty cringe.
Trying to get some beachbum fits for goofing around doing island living. Could I pull this off as a super white blonde dude? Also /r/ing moar beach fits, but I want to avoid just wearing neutrals all the time
>>18567842If they're serious about their job, they're using ballistic-rated glasses from /k/ brands like Oakley, Wiley X or ESS. Browse their catalogs for casual-looking models with proper glass.
How do I branch out from Uniqlo if I like their oversized fit? I've tried multiple brands and streetwear stuff but nothing gets the fitting right like Uniqlo does. If I get "oversized", it ends up GIGANTIC in other brands. if I get not oversized clothes, it's always too tight fitting. Shit's so fucking annoying.
How do I get my hair to grow down like more of a shag cut (pic 1 is my ideal) when it usually grows out and to the sides instead (like pic 2)?? Is there a specific way I have to cut it myself or get it cut like specific layers I'm not understanding? I'm really tired of my only 2 hair options being amorphous fluffball or curly undercut cus neither feel flattering, pls help
>>18579984Start with damp hair and use a 'fro pick and hair tonic. guide your hair the way you want. push the hair out and down, combing forward from the back, and use palm other hand to guide the tips down so they curl and don't go fluff ball. You want to keep curl and volume without going into cloud mode. Then use some light fixing spray tonic (something from reuzel) to spritz. it's all very quick, I do this every morning before I head out. I naturally wake up with a cloud head.
>>18580258>I naturally wake up with a cloud head.I'm the exact same way, thank you for the advice! Will save this
Why are boxer briefs so common? Calvin Klein, Columbia, Nike, and Under Armour almost all exclusively sell boxer briefs. Only Fruit of the Loom and Hanes have boxers.
>>18561895I've dropped a lot of weight and I'm in my 30s. I think of myself better than the bogans in my area so I dress formal everywhere I go - shopping, lunch, gym (I change in the bathroom). My go to outfit is blue striped business shirt, suspenders, red tie, black pants and polished black shoes. I get mires from women, especially older ones, everywhere I go and I get the stink eye from every male. My girlfriend loves that I have prioritised sophisticated fashion in my life. When I lounge around the house, it's nothing but silk calvin klein boxers, cotton socks and white sneakers. Women in the neighbourhood always mire when I mow the lawn.

I've been trying to make my own clothes and i'm into that boro sashiko thing. Are there any cool ways to distress denim for this effect? I've used a metal file (quickish but the lines are orderly) and sandpaper (kinda slow). Tempted to just bash it with a rock. I've also used a seam ripper / sissors but the cut threads are sharply cut so its obvious

How do I find jeans that fit without looking ridiculous, at this point I'm torching money trying to find a pair that actually fit methey either end up>fitting my waste fine but end way too baggy in the legs, look like I'm wearing bell bottoms>fine width in the legs but way too tight in the waste/thighs to the point it looks like I'm wearing tightsI just want a nice fitting pair of straight cut jeans bros
So I have a sports coat that fits, but today im leaving the house and all of a sudden it doesn't. It was very strange. Like my shirt was showing six inches, like the jacket all of a sudden was barely past my elbows. I assume it was the shirt I was wearing underneath, but it was very strange. Is this something that happens or am I just in the twilight zone all of a sudden?
>>18581869(1/2) I know that feel. I moved from a pair of Jack&Jones (terrible cut, but I still have them for sentimental reasons) to Oni, Tcb, Blue Blanket, Sugar Cane and Samurai. All of them were a disappointment. Notice that I never got the wrong size (except maybe once, with the BB), they simply just fitted my body really bad. So I either sent them back for refunds, or wore them for a few months before deciding to resell them. I was resigned, I started to think I was just not the right person to wear jeans. Then I came across a pair of vintage Levi’s. (Never even considered to get a pair of their new current crap). For the first time in my life I saw a pair of jeans actually fitting my body and enhancing my twink ass. It was irl, so I bought them without thinking twice and took them home. Unfortunately it turned out they were actually larger than my waist size, so I gave them to my bigger buddy who was super happy. After that I bought a pair of vintage 505 from eBay. Can you believe it? They were also too big.
>>18582217(2/2) I was on the verge of desperation. At last God decided to help me and I found another pair of vintage Levi’s in a second-hand market. They were new (new old stock I believe) and made in the US. High-rise, straight leg, beautiful consistent mid blue. I fell in love with them. Two months later I was again so lucky that I found another pair of 501, in dark blue this time, but it was LVC (Levi’s Vintage Clothing). New, I got them for 30 bucks. Surprisingly the rise and the whole cut is very accurate, as opposed to what they say online. High-waisted, roomy and comfortable throughout the leg, with a 23cm hem. The quality of the denim (dark blue neppy and hairy raw) is outstanding, and in no way inferior to the Japanese brands. They’re beautiful and I rotate between them and the other pair. Moral of the story, if you want something that will fit you and make you look handsome and sexy, look no further than vintage Levi’s. There’s a reason if they’re the most popular and glorified jeans of all time. That said, brands that I still want to try someday include: Left Field (in particular the Smokestacks), Roundhouse, Warehouse, Momotaro, Omoto, PeppinoPeppino, Uniqlo, vintage Armani and Rifle. Brands that I stay away from: Wrangler (hate the boomer cowboy larp, simple as), Lee, Iron Heart, Denime, Naked & Famous, Burgus Plus and all the high-fashion scamcrap brands. Hope it helps.
How do I sit the fuck down and work out? I never cultivated the discipline to do anything worthwhile, work, exercise, anything. And now that I'm getting older I can feel the belly demon approaching

Is shortening the sleeves on an unlined wool coat viable?
>>18582780Yes, just give it to a tailor.
>>18581869>measure them all>combine the measurements from the best fitting parts of each pair to get your ideal measurements>start looking online for jeans that fit said measurements>alternatively have them made to measure in luxire or something

>>18580825>go full chechenYou mean, go full gay behind the flimsy doors of their closet, while repressing their wahmen to the point that they'd run away into a brothel if it means getting away from those preening phaggots? I think the niggers are more than halfway there, what with all the thug shaking, buck breaking, satanic sodomite hip-hop culture of the '20s.
