The answer is 2 on a standard men's shirt with no tie.
0 = unsettling.

Any leather product that's vague is going to be trash, if it was good leather they would advertise the tannery.

Leather autismos correct me if I'm wrong but I learned like 99% of "leather" products aren't even a layer of animal skin like you'd expect. It's all literally shredded bits of leather suspended in glue/plastic.

The only real leather is "full grain", the full thickness of the hide with the actual animal's skin surface intact
>>
>>18563303
What does it even mean, “is going to be trash”? I have 20+ years old leather belts, they’re made in Italy and they’ve aged like fine wine. Same with wallets that my father left me. Nowhere it was ever advertised the name of the tannery. This is just amerilard autism because you seriously do have a market infested with low-quality garbage.

whats better, a ralph lauren blazer or a givenchy blazer? (on ebay looking at blazers). Or is there another house's blazer I should be getting?
>>
>>18563892
>confuses not knowing the leathers source due to hand-me-downs with the nature of poor quality goods correlated with lack of tannery transparency
The amerilard autism is a symptom of shitty goods. When a shop advertises the quality of the leather, they become accountable and you can expect better goods and inspect the product. Other places don’t need to advertise superfluous information because the expectation is that the leather goods are already of quality.
>>
>>18566480
yeah >>18563892, if you get good shit it will literally say "Leather sourced from so and so tannery" and some even talk about how the cows are treated.
>>
>>18566552
The are places where leather is exclusively sourced from legit tanneries as per default. There, advertising its origin is often not necessary.

To make leather the hide is split horizontally in half, the top half which is what was on the outside is called top grain, while the bottom half is the split and is what they use to make suede. Top grain can then be sanded (corrected) for effect or to hide imperfection and is then called corrected grain, or can be left as is in which case it's called full grain. All of these are real leather. Bonded leather is leather bits mixed with a bonding agent and then made into sheets and possibly embossed with a grain pattern to make something that's really basically plastic but it's got enough leather in it that they can get away with legally calling it leather. I wouldn't say 99% of leather products are bonded leather but generally if something is suspiciously cheap it's probably for a reason, like $50 for a leather jacket is not happening for example. At $600 I'd expect an actual animal hide though, it's on the low end for leather jackets but way too expensive for fake leather.
>>

Anyone who buys an expensive new leather jacket when there are still billions around from an age when leather goods were excellent and genuine as default is a complete fucking retard or a person who can just throw cash out of the window without consequences.

Anyone know any good Canadian online retailer? Shit's getting annoying since I want to move away from Uniqlo but I'm always running into multiple issues with fashion
>1. Hype pieces get sold out QUICK
As soon as I see something on the release that I wanna cop, oh welp you didn't have 10 bots trying to get a piece or you didn't win the lottery sucks
>2. Uniqlo has my perfect sizing
if only most of their pieces didn't shrink after wash, this company would be perfect. Trying to stray away from there since my closet is just filled with their pieces though and I wanna branch out to more interesting stuff
>3. everything "interesting" cost a leg and an arm
why the fuck do shirts go up to $500+, it's annoying because if I want something that pops out a little more I'm going to pay cuck money.

torrentshell. shell jackets aren't bifl they delaminate after a while. 10 years i consider a good run but they could last longer if you're not a hiker.

corduroy*, moleskin, coarse wool, fleece lined denim.
or if you want to keep harvesting fades on your jeans just wear some wool long johns underneath them, they come in varying thicknesses.

>>
>>18571597
Those things suck. The thing that is ”waterproof”, which actually is only up to a certain point, fairly quickly and they are hot anyway so might as well wear one made out of rubber.
>>
>>18572373
also the "breathable" part of gore tex only works when the jacket is dry (when you shouldn't be wearing it anyways) and only in specific humidity ranges.
silpoly rain jackets are the best. they won't get you killed like waxed cotton, they're no worse for the environment than a polyester tee shirt, they won't even make you gay because the polyester fibers are encased in inert silicone.
this thing is ugly but it claps EVERY rain shell on the market https://timmermade.com/product/megazip-silpoly/
>t.gets 12 feet of rain a year here
>>
>>18570220
Just start measuring from the 1ft mark and cut a foot off from your read measurement
>>
>>18570220
>but there's variation between all measuring tapes, even good quality ones. It's why people say you should use the same tape for everything when working on a project
its also why you ALWAYS see experienced contractors and carpenters grab the end of their tape and slow it down with their hand before it fully retracts. because the hook slamming against the tape measure's body will deform it over time and make your measurements inconsistent against another person's tape.

what's a good designer brand I can buy some basics from, ie sweaters and t-shirts? I've been wearing Uniqlo for ages but I've got more money now and I wanna show off a bit and just wear nicer stuff in general
I'd go with Dior but they don't really do basic shit, and it's overpriced as fuck anyway, for some of their prices I could cop vintage Helmut
ideally it'd have some kind of recognition with normalfags
was looking at Hugo Boss but they're kinda gaudy, decent price point though

How do I get my hair to grow down like more of a shag cut (pic 1 is my ideal) when it usually grows out and to the sides instead (like pic 2)?? Is there a specific way I have to cut it myself or get it cut like specific layers I'm not understanding? I'm really tired of my only 2 hair options being amorphous fluffball or curly undercut cus neither feel flattering, pls help
>>
>>18579984
Start with damp hair and use a 'fro pick and hair tonic. guide your hair the way you want. push the hair out and down, combing forward from the back, and use palm other hand to guide the tips down so they curl and don't go fluff ball. You want to keep curl and volume without going into cloud mode. Then use some light fixing spray tonic (something from reuzel) to spritz. it's all very quick, I do this every morning before I head out. I naturally wake up with a cloud head.

Why are boxer briefs so common?
Calvin Klein, Columbia, Nike, and Under Armour almost all exclusively sell boxer briefs. Only Fruit of the Loom and Hanes have boxers.

I've dropped a lot of weight and I'm in my 30s. I think of myself better than the bogans in my area so I dress formal everywhere I go - shopping, lunch, gym (I change in the bathroom). My go to outfit is blue striped business shirt, suspenders, red tie, black pants and polished black shoes. I get mires from women, especially older ones, everywhere I go and I get the stink eye from every male. My girlfriend loves that I have prioritised sophisticated fashion in my life.
When I lounge around the house, it's nothing but silk calvin klein boxers, cotton socks and white sneakers. Women in the neighbourhood always mire when I mow the lawn.

(1/2) I know that feel. I moved from a pair of Jack&Jones (terrible cut, but I still have them for sentimental reasons) to Oni, Tcb, Blue Blanket, Sugar Cane and Samurai. All of them were a disappointment. Notice that I never got the wrong size (except maybe once, with the BB), they simply just fitted my body really bad. So I either sent them back for refunds, or wore them for a few months before deciding to resell them. I was resigned, I started to think I was just not the right person to wear jeans. Then I came across a pair of vintage Levi’s. (Never even considered to get a pair of their new current crap). For the first time in my life I saw a pair of jeans actually fitting my body and enhancing my twink ass. It was irl, so I bought them without thinking twice and took them home. Unfortunately it turned out they were actually larger than my waist size, so I gave them to my bigger buddy who was super happy. After that I bought a pair of vintage 505 from eBay. Can you believe it? They were also too big.

(2/2) I was on the verge of desperation. At last God decided to help me and I found another pair of vintage Levi’s in a second-hand market. They were new (new old stock I believe) and made in the US. High-rise, straight leg, beautiful consistent mid blue. I fell in love with them. Two months later I was again so lucky that I found another pair of 501, in dark blue this time, but it was LVC (Levi’s Vintage Clothing). New, I got them for 30 bucks. Surprisingly the rise and the whole cut is very accurate, as opposed to what they say online. High-waisted, roomy and comfortable throughout the leg, with a 23cm hem. The quality of the denim (dark blue neppy and hairy raw) is outstanding, and in no way inferior to the Japanese brands. They’re beautiful and I rotate between them and the other pair. Moral of the story, if you want something that will fit you and make you look handsome and sexy, look no further than vintage Levi’s. There’s a reason if they’re the most popular and glorified jeans of all time. That said, brands that I still want to try someday include: Left Field (in particular the Smokestacks), Roundhouse, Warehouse, Momotaro, Omoto, PeppinoPeppino, Uniqlo, vintage Armani and Rifle. Brands that I stay away from: Wrangler (hate the boomer cowboy larp, simple as), Lee, Iron Heart, Denime, Naked & Famous, Burgus Plus and all the high-fashion scamcrap brands. Hope it helps.

You mean, go full gay behind the flimsy doors of their closet, while repressing their wahmen to the point that they'd run away into a brothel if it means getting away from those preening phaggots? I think the niggers are more than halfway there, what with all the thug shaking, buck breaking, satanic sodomite hip-hop culture of the '20s.
