>>18564316This. If you look closely at most black-out tats, you can still somewhat see whatever design was underneath. It's the ultimate cope. They get a tattoo of something they're definitely going to regret, like a stupid meme or something related to a bf/gf who then cheats on them, they try to mask the tattoo with some other design or pattern, that doesn't work so eventually they just say "fuck it" and go full blackout. They never think to just laser off the original small tattoo because that would be sensible, and if they were sensible, they wouldn't have gotten tattoos in the first place.
