I hate this fucking retard like you wouldn't believe.

Same, about fifteen years ago,

> Be me, start on a three year LARP and spend about $20,000 on a matching Ralph Lauren Rugby wardrobe. Pic related.

> Buy three piece suits, waistcoats, odd trousers, chinos, corduroys, overcoats, pea coats, denim, ties, velvet slippers, smoking jackets, tuxedos, tie bars, pocket squares, cufflinks, club collared shirts and more. Wear them every day.

>This is my "look" now, I will never have to buy clothes again.

>When Rugby ends, segue straight into buying Purple Label, then RRL.

I Still have most of it. Sold some to even bigger faggots on Ebay for profit.

The quality of Rugby was off the charts, and I still wear a lot of it, but after years of serial monogamy, my then girlfriend of three years and I broke up soon after my first order arrived, and I have not had sex, been on a date, or had any romantic involvement with women since.

When I dressed like utter shit, like crappy jeans and t shirts, and just the plainest shoes like Chuck Taylors, I always had girlfriends, had girls into me. It was easy.
It's like the first time I put on a pair of trousers and a Ralph Lauren tweed sport coat with a club collar and went "Fuck yeah", the universe made a worldwide decree that I was, from that moment on, pussy repellant.
Lots of compliments from strangers, and people treated me diferently in general, but this style is honestly an immediate dehumidifier for vaginas when compared to my previous experience. Sprezzatura? More like sfigurare.
>>
>>18569914
You don't fucking understand why????????????????????????????????????????
>>
>>18569918
No I don't. Wouldn't higher quality, stylish wardrobes appeal more to women than my previous slobby look? I was honestly embarassed at how I dressed before and thought I'd attract a higher quality woman than previously, but it went to zero.

More men need to know this. Poor hygiene fags give uncut a bad rep.
>>
>>18569922
Women aren't attracted to men who look like they spend too much time thinking about their appearance.
Women routinely say that something like a pair of grey joggers or good jeans are the sexiest things men wear.
The average woman isn't going to go for a guy who's dressed like a Miskatonic professor. Three piece suits don't really have a place in modern society outside of formal events. You look like you're LARPing as a yacht club trust fund baby, so you'd better have the money to back it up. Then you need to go fish where the fish you want that bait live.

Contemporary women want to see men delegitimized, ridiculed, impoverished, simplified and unpowered. That’s why. Find a woman who isn’t like that. Find a woman who isn’t a dull, gloomy, vapid, depressing retard and you’ll be fine. Dressing with nice things, with properly made cloths and garments is your right. Just like they claimed the right to wear our workwear, our ties, our loafers, our blazers, our coats, our leather jackets, our trousers, our everything. They don’t dislike fine clothes: they wear them themselves. Them first. It’s all theirs now. That’s why you have to go back against the wall and settle for the worst pair of jeans ever and a tee. Not even a pair of selvedge raws are okay, to them. They want everything. You? You must go back to monke. It’s your choice. It’s up to you whether you want to make them happy or find one who shares what you like.

jeet post.

Since I know one of you fuckers is reading this thread, you have so many employees now, listen to my advice because it will actually benefit you and your business.

You need to drop all notions of the formality scale, it does not exist, abandon this idea completely.
You are in a war with people who do not want you to dress nicely and you don't even know it.
What is considered "formal" today is synonymous with "socially inappropriate" because there are no formal occasions outside of an extremely limited list such as funerals, job interviews, court, all of which are not places you want to be.
And everything outside of tshirts and jeans is considered formal.
This is not a natural social shift, this is a deliberate push to deprive men of the dignity of dressing well by aggressively arguing over the formality of garments that should not hold any such notions at all.
The concept of formality has been functionally irrelevant since the end of the first world war, but it has been artifically carried forward to the present day purely as a means of sartorial warfare.
Notice how no other fashion subculture is tainted by notions of formality.

You need to be the ones to DECIDE what is acceptable and what is not. Not what other people deem acceptable. You must act as fashion influences, not be influenced by people who would rather you wear tshirts and jeans for the rest of your life and in everty occasion.
The fundamental fact is that the suit looks good, it is the garment of a civilised person, and the wearing of it should be encouraged and argued for. It is not a matter of formality, it should be the default for all occasions simply as a fashion choice.

It IS acceptable to wear a suit to the grocery store.

I don’t have any answers myself, I dabble in all corners and sometimes go out in classic menswear but usually not. Pussy getting is inconsistent for me, sometimes lots and sometimes none, but it’s always ultimately on me and my efforts in pursuit. So yeah nothing to add. Kind of inspiring me to go out looking nice and dignified at my next opportunity

I think they pay too much attention to fashion magazine illustrations, assuming them to be paragons of good style, but in reality most such illustrations are like pic related.

The illustration appears to show a group of men at a gathering all together, but actually the purpose is to show a large variety of different garments for sale. They'll often be a nonsensical combination of styles and items because the company wants to show off everything they have.
>>
>>18572422
Just as today, if you go to a store or read its catalog, you'll find that actually only a tiny percentage of the clothes actually sell, the rest are total busts that nobody wants.
What's in a magazine is not indicative of how the average person dressed, and certainly not good advice on how to dress

But if you look at actual photos of the past, most people for their entire lives dressed incredibly plain, just as they do today.
All those bold checks, wacky combinations, unique colours, basically nobody bought them. The tailors advertised them to show off what they could do, but for all of history the most anybody ever bought was a dark grey or navy suit.

Furthermore, most people settled on their fashion style in their 20's or 30's, and then kept wearing the same thing for the rest of their life regardless of what was new in fashion. Which is also what people do today just with modern clothes.
>>
>>18572422
>>18572427
they made a video that was something like
costume vs fashion
and while that's great they are still wearing costumes

becasue:
they do not hold positions important enough to warrant their clothes (outside of prestion when he sings)
nor are they autistic enough to pull off a three piece randomly

I do agree with the point that you are making but I would play a little bit of devil's advocate and say that sometimes magazines are almost all or most of what you can go off of. That said they reall should look more and harder for more information and proof of clothing worn from the years past

I also think the answer to the suit question in the year of our lord 2025 is that you need to be attractive and wear custom tailored clothes that fit you well while also understanding and paying homage to classic menswear while also also fitting the modern trends somewhat but that would drive away too many viewers

These are accountants, librarians or some such from a time period much earlier than now. Since the 1960s clothing has become more accessible to males & females, with more more emphasis on trends & fashions. Certain male occupations or professions maintained their standards longer than others (think lawyers) but now even the professional man typically dresses like a slob. Or larper because that direct connection to the past has been broken.
