Have young people just given up on fashion? It's been nothing but y2k ripoffs for over a decade. Is this going to be the first decade that has no style of its own? Even the 2010s had swagfags, stomp clap hey guys with beards and suspenders, normcore, gothninja, etc.Every generation has bit off the previous generations style, but this current crop has legitimately made nothing in terms of clothes. How long until they get sick of this y2k shit?
>>18572659I lived through those decades, and I thought the same of them when I was living during those times. You will notice what these years have been only in retrospect.
>Have young people just given up on fashion?its not unique to fashion its the result of decades of global economic depression where the rich get richer and the middle class became poor. fashion is an expensive hobby/interest and like most expensive hobbies/interests of the pasts its slowly dying and losing relevance. most young guys aren't into cars these days either because they can't afford anything cool when they're in high school.
>>18572659Fashion was perfected in the 90s and early 2000s. You don't need anything else. Zoomers are wise to not try to come up with anything new. There's no need to reinvent the wheel.

The global population will begin to fall in the next decade and be half of what it is now by 2070
