I don't even mean terrible/ugly fashion either just fashion that's outdated. Like in my area men's shorts have been really long since well before I was born (I'm in my 30s now) and throughout my entire life and have literally only JUST now (like 6 months ago) began wearing "shorter" shorts that show their knees, and even now they don't even show the entire knee but just simply doesn't cover the entire knee. So they're not "above" the knee shorts. They're just like 11 or 12 inch inseam shorts instead of the 15+ inch 3/4 pants they were wearing before.Meanwhile apparently in many other places men's 5 inch inseam mid-thigh length shorts have been in style since like 2010 and have been in style so long that they're actually now going OUT of style and men's 13+ inch inseam below the knee shorts are coming BACK into style. At this rate it'll take my area till like the year 2050 or some shit for proper above the knee men's shorts to finally be into style. And then for below the knee men's shorts to come back into style it'll take till like the year 2100. I didn't even know my area was this far behind till I took a trip somewhere else back in like 2015 and was shocked to how short the shorts that men were wearing were, or at least short compared to what I was used to. Was shocked to see men showing their entire knees and even a bit of thigh meanwhile the men in my area barely showed their calves. I'm sure my area is a pretty extreme example, though I'm sure some of you must live in an area that's not so fashionable either.
>>18573731i live in the south and the average nig is still wearing skinny jeans from 2017. average white guy is still wearing skinny khakis/slim khakis from 2017 even tho they have a pot belly. granted the celebrity whites, fashion whites, celebrity nigs and fashion nigs moved on to baggy jeans, relaxed fit jeans and bootcut jeans/bell bottoms.
>>18573731what area you live in>?
>>18573731The Southern USA is still wearing skinny jeans
I live in NorCal and people still dress in Tumblr witch shit.
>>18573731STL is ~10 years behind NYC in terms of trends, even restaurants. Rich and poor people seem to be crystalized; Rich larp as New Englanders / wear golf-or-tennis core and poor whites are still in 2003 where dressing 'nice' is considered gay. Liberals look like 2013 Williamsburg crossed with the humans from Invader Zim. Fashion here seems to be a uniform of whatever caste you're in
>>18573731Doesn't sound so much like outdated fashion and more like just simply a length preference like with how some women might prefer maxi skirts over mini skirts.
>>18573732>>18573770yup the average person in the deep south USA still wear skinny jeans for some reason.
I live in a small town in the American West. Approaching anything with a modern fashionable edge will get you called a queer and shitty service/looks. Lots of slop working man clothing and poor diet/health. I honestly feel bad when people try to dress nice here, without the help of their wife it’s like a 3rd grader playing dress up. Occasionally see a sharp dressed traditional western guy but it’s rare and implies out of stater with money. Only perk of living here are the thrift stores have some great 70’s/80’s USA made western wear in small sizes. >tldr fashion (while a couple decades old) is only for the women folk.
>>18573784Skinny jeans are about to come back in, so they might as well stick to them. Baggy has been in for nearly ten years at this point, the baggy+cropped silhouette is tiring on people now
>>18573784I do. I still like emo punk rock fashion.
>>18573731lucky motherfucker. where the fuck do you live so i can move there? i'm tired of seeing 300 pound men in little tiny short shorts for so many years. morbidly obese men in short shorts should honestly be outlawed. morbidly obese women too for that matter but one thing at a time
>>18574574based
>>18574372Baggy jeans/baggy pants are only starting to come back among male normies last year in the American south even though celebrities (rappers, pro athletes, actors/actresses, musicians) from the south and fashionheads have been wearing baggy jeans for half a decade or more. Expect more Baggy jeans/baggy pants on male normies in the american south for the next 10 years.
>>18574574As a bisexual man I don't disagree that 300 pound men look terrible in short shorts but I really like short shorts on attractive men.
>>18574949on "attractive" men. on ATTRACTIVE men. there, you yourself said it. and what's the percentage of ugly men to attractive men, hm? similarly i only like short shorts on attractive women. but there's more morbidly obese women than attractive women. so short shorts don't look good on most of the human population male or female. i'd love to live in an area where almost no one wears short shorts male or female
>>18575497>>18574949hello.
I relate. I live in the midwest, where dudes just wear work jeans, baseball caps, and steel toes, and women wear leggings with hoodies. Its always a shocker going back home to the PNW and seeing the new trends. Last time I was back it seemed like everyone had microrealism tattoos
>>18575613>steel toesmore normies should wear steel toes imo, you never know when something heavy is gonna fall on your feet>Its always a shocker going back home to the PNW and seeing the new trendsyou see new trends in coastal areas like nyc, la, maybe miami and shit.
>>18573731Back in 2016 I stayed in rural West Virginia for a time. I remember seeing lots of guys wearing pleated pants from the 80s-early 2000s when slim fit was quite popular elsewhere. I don't know how it is nowadays since this was nearly a decade ago.
