Are coats supposed to look ugly like this? I'm not fat or bulky, but I look all bloated and chunky like this guy whenever I put on a coat.

It should be right about approximately where your shoulder meets your arm, not lower. If it’s lower it’s too big. If it’s higher, it’s too small. So ideally he would get this coat tailored. The material is also strange but that’s neither here nor there.

It works with the relaxed, fuller silhouette of the rest of the outfit. The shoulders fit correctly, and the seams should be in that position regardless of the cut. If you wear a t-shirt with shoulder seams like pic rel, it is too tight and will actually lead to shoulder issues, such as impingement, as well as looking try-hard and retarded
