As a man, is it a faux pas to wear a mixture of yellow gold, and steel/silver jewellery? I've always heard that best practice was to pick a metal tone and stick to it, but typically this rule applies more strictly to woman, right?Do you mix metals?
Literally no one who isn't autistic cares anymore.
>>18578727Maybe, but you could say the same about matching your leather when wearing a suit. Some may say "who cares", but if you want to do it right that's what you do.
I think steel watch and gold ring are the exception to this rule due to the fact the ring is understated and most people steel watches.Mixing metals becomes a problem when it comes to earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc etc. not something to worry about as a man
>>18578723it's barely noticeable in your pic but when it's more obvious, it looks bad.
>>18578723Kys you dumbfuck.Next useless question?
>>18578723get a white gold band to go with the steel
>>18578723"Mixing metals" is for women. Pick a metal -- gold or silver -- that works well with your complexion and stick with it.
>>18578723>I've always heard that best practice was to pick a metal tone and stick to itprobably started off as a sales tactic. e.g. person with a gold wedding ring goes to buy a luxury watch or whatever. gets persuaded to buy it in gold instead of silver or steel because you can't mix le metals or else you're a filthy pleb and you don't wanna be that do you
If that's a rule, why are two-tone watches a thing?
>>18578730>if you want to do it rightAccording to the rules of geriatrics and LARPers born in le wrong generation. Wear what looks good and fits the social setting. Those are literally the only rules worth following.
