I got this jacket on sale what do I wear with it?
would blue or black jeans be fine or should I match the color

I'd remove leave it open and unbuttoned. With a lighter more pastel colors. Perhaps a nice pair of black or tan jeans. For the sleeves I'd leave them uncuffed and rolled up, to the bend in my arm. A nice watch on my dominate wrist with a few bracelets or arm garnish on my other. Get a pair of glasses, not tinted and keep them in one of the pockets. For shoes you can go with a neutral sneaker, or loafer, but nothing to fancy.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd probably replace the buttons for black or even a dark blue.
Remove the place for a nametag.
Winter wear I'd have a scarf tucked into the under shirt and for summer I wouldn't wear a shirt underneath.
