Anyone have friends that you share this hobby with? What are the conversations like? I just can't imagine one without it being gay as fuck. >Bro, what are you wearing today?>Something light, ya feel me? That carrrhart baby>Oh that's what that was? That's lit.>You saw that new season of Rick?>Yeah, I finna pick up some geos>Oh sick, man>....
>>18582213>Anyone have friendsNo
not really. A few of the proprietors in the area I am on a first name basis with but friendship is a tenuous and strategic byproduct of dangerous enterprise at this point in life
>>18582213I only talk fashion with female friends. Sharing fashion with men devolve into looksmaxx competition
>>18582213Fashion isn't a 'hobby' in the sense you're expressing it here; it's an extension of your lifestyle or, for some of us, our profession. In terms of what kind of fashion-related conversations I have with people I've met through fashion, a lot of it is basically shop talk, internal company gossip, what they've been working on recently, trends in the industry, and anything inspiring they've seen or read about recently. It's not really some deep dark secret or anything, just talk about design, and current events, mainly, you do have an opinion on design, right? I don't really have conversations about what people are wearing for the sake of it. I might ask where they got something if I like it or find it interesting, but it's not like we're doing full fit breakdowns every time we hang out, like you see in this video OP. If you want a specific example, a recent conversation I had with a buddy of mine, who is a trader and imports mainly from Japan, was about the tariff changes between the US and Japan and what they mean for reselling and individual consumption, y'know shop talk.
>>18582213is that a tranny?
>>18582275This. Not to mention friends are now just acquaintances, and since they’re just bar flies, while I also recently quit drinking, I’m narrowing this down to no friends anymore.
>>18582213nah a lot of asian fashion normie conversation at least here in the west usually devolves into judgmental shit>bro those nikes look like shit>im tired of these basic ass fits in my area>uniqlo so basic everyone buys from there>balenciaga is cornytho the new generation of asians is definitely more chill and friendly because they are east asian men that fuck girlstho i do like that east asian men fuck girls >>18582486join a run club or something
>>18582487Run clubs aren’t full of people with interesting hobbies. They’re basic church suburban people.
>>18582489hang out with fashion influencers then
My cousinWe went to the Rick Owens expo’ earlier this yearFunny thing about it is that is a 195cm 145kg fatass that only wear joggers and hoodies, but loves fashion thus he often compliment my fits and ask for my input whenever he gets something fancy
>>18582213They look like a bunch of crossdressing grandmas going to the country club or something. What is wrong with modern "men"? They don't have an ounce of masculinity or "swag".
