The top is a literal, singular aromachemical. It has its own well studied aroma profile and is used to make different scent profiles. The second is likely a note listed to a handful of fragrances that use Cashmeran as part of the formula to create a woody aroma, but instead of listing “cashmeran” as a note, they want to emphasize the idea of cashmere mixed with wood. In short, the top is an aromachemical, the second is a marketing term.

>semi-professional weather, think warehouse in a northern climate and not heated indoors
>male
>30yo
Like
>clean, fresh, or natural scents, incense, some florals and musks
Dislike
>gourmands, heavy ambers, jasmine bombs

In warmer weather I like stuff like You Or Someone Like You, Geranium Pour Monsieur, Prada L'Homme, and Vetiver Guerlain.
The old Armani Code is nice for cooler weather but hard to find. Something like Prada L'Homme but with more incense would be perfect.
I already tried L'Homme Intense and Interlude Black Iris, didn't care for either of them.

It is straight up fraudulent history. They started by saying they’ve produced bespoke fragrances for celebrities, well regarded political figures, and European royalty. They made the mistake of actually naming names to try and garner fame and the descendants / estate holders of some of the said parties called them on their bullshit and I believe even threatened to sue. Creed walked back any of the lies that they got called on but left the ones generic enough they couldn’t be proved false in place, as well as any where the descendants never came after them for their lies.

I'll be honest with you, I'm dyslexic but this is some of the worst writing I have seen in a book. That's how you know it's real, all the kike owned publishers likely turned him down so he had to self-publish. If any of it was a lie Creed would have sued him to death but since it's all true there is nothing they can do.

It's from 1996. It smells great but it's doesn't project or last too much, which might be a blessing in disguise since I think it's something that could easily feel like too much. It's also a splash bottle so I get to be real precise with it.

Good examples Anon, ty.

Lion was the first that came to mind and I’m spending a few hours with it at the moment. The iris makes it so powdery and really sets it apart for me I wanted to be sure. I’m glad I own a bottle of it, especially being so cheap, but it’s never really something I desire.

Third Man was definitely something I enjoyed, will have to come back to it.

description from the Guerlain website:
>Vétiver draws its character from an innovative accord in perfumery, crafted on the basis of vetiver, tonka bean, nutmeg and tobacco. The fragrance opens on the spontaneous, piquant freshness of citrus fruits with orange, bergamot and lemon. At the heart, spices such as nutmeg and pepper intensify the fragrance, before giving way to vetiver, tobacco and tonka bean. A fresh woody accord for a fragrance with authentic elegance.

Having collaborated with Guerlain in the past, I’m very much familiar with most of their offerings. Regarding the current iteration of Vetiver, it is mostly comprised of DSM Firmenich’s Vetiver SFE 991252 (a certain type of Haitian Vetiver extracted via supercritical co2 processes) which in my opinion is already a fragrance itself. In regards to the tobacco, there a few materials with woody and ambery nuances that can be found in tobacco accords, but in our case they make up the woody backbone. I wouldn’t call it a true tobacco accord seeing as it lacks a few key molecules and naturals that comprise tobacco
