I would say elixir is worth it, it has very good performance so you won't spray a lot, and you can get it for around 120/60ml at discounters
If that's too expensive get another Sauvage. I disagree with people who say they don't have anything in common, Elixir is deeper and has some kind of licorice note I don't get from other flankers but it still definitely has the Sauvage dna

I tried the entire line last week at the mall, I liked Le Parfum the best. It's the most masculine leaning of them all. Smells like a cocoa infused Grand Soir. The original is okay but it's a bit synthetic

Get a decant and spray tactically, you can stretch a 10ml for a few months.

Parfum is great, sort of an exotic dessert liqueur with a pungent floral element, and it is slightly more masculine than original like other anon said but still basically unisex so caution

Le Male edt quite dated by now. Beau Parfum is a syrupy thick tropical, i couldn't see when I'd wear it. Elixir Absolu is good but it's tiktok'd to death, Scandal is good yet underrated

bit of a newfag to fragrances, this is my collection atm
I'd say elixir, fahrenheit parfum and scandal JPG are all going to be attractive for foids
so far elixir is easily the best, smells fucking heavenly and lasts for days. fahrenheit parfum is boozy, sweet, masculine and generally stronger than the EDT to my nose, with the EDT being nice in its own petroleum leather way but it doesn't have a ton of projection or last very long
scandal smells like caramel, nothing super deep but pleasant
as for the others, sauvage EDP is safe, fresh and boring, everyone knows this shit. eau sauvage is really nice, probably best for spring summer, like a crisp apple soda and cut grass. I wouldn't call either of them particularly attractive though, although the latter could be if you're in an office environment
>>
>>18585312
>syrupy thick tropical
I put it as an option because I like coconut and tonka and heard it performed way better than the normal Le Beau, is it not the case?
>tiktok'd
Eh I don't think that really matters
>good yet underrated
Yeah I agree, which flanker is the best in your opinion?
>>
>>18584641
Looking for a new daily regular/office scent, just something I can throw on if I want to smell decent but not stand out. Thinking Prada L'homme, Allure homme sport eau extreme, BDC. Can I get some reccies in this idea please
>>
>>18585433
>smells fucking heavenly and lasts for days
Did I get a bad batch? I can't smell it anymore after 4-5 hours.
>>
>>18585439
shit lasted like 4-5 days for me, insane, but I've got dry skin and I'm a non-showering NEET hermit so there's that. could just be your skin type, although idk how much that really plays a part
>>
>>18585444
Maybe I go noseblind. A girl told me the fragrance stuck to her a couple hours after we shared a hug so idk. I do three or four sprays and it goes away fast but I think I have a problem with noseblindness
>>
>>18585438
BDC Parfum (not EDP or EDT) is the best imo when it comes to an universally inoffensive, classy, quality scent
>>
>>18585433

It's just too cloying for summer and too unusual a scent for winter or anywhere for me, whereas the EDT I can see some use for. but if you just want long-lasting coconut then yes go for it.

>best Scandal flanker
absolutely Absolu because it's a slightly juiced up version of the original. Scandal Le Parfum has a strong geranium that I dislike in most fragrances/smells too mature, and I never tried the other

>>18585438

Is the performance okay? I would actually rather have pure coconut + tonka rather than added tropical/pineapple notes but I'm scared the basic Le Beau won't perform well

What is the point of this thread? To recommend the ten top seller frags to every single post asking for "recommendations"? Go to a store and ask someone for a frag to try. You'd get better results.
Only teenagers and brownies think frags will get you laid. 95% of frags smell good, you're not getting more "female attention" wether you use dior sauvage or ultra niche 500 dollar fragrance that no one knows about, they both smell nice, no one cares.
This thread is worthless, you nons should go back to TikTok

Coz Coco Chanel was a Nazi sympathiser. Only men's one from that time was Pour Monsieur though and she had minimal input in that one iirc

Is Eros Flame really Indian-tier?
I like it, although I wish it was a little heavier on the light musky vibe and less vanilla wall-to-wall
Is Sauvage Elixir too overplayed at this point, or just the mainline Sauvage? I like the idea, I like black licorice as a note, and people say it’s got a little bit of that old school piney quality, but normie enough to not smell like an 50 year old uncle.

It's "good" in that it tells everyone in your vicinity that you are wearing perfume. The scent itself is more 'hookah lounge' than it is 'fireside leather chair with a pipe'. The Intense is not necessarily stronger, but more complex and subdued. Same deal with Cedrat Boise Intense. lavender and rose in many usages evoke a kind of old people vibe and oud often adds some level of fecal funkiness or a middle eastern edge. So seeing those three together as the only notes makes me think it'd not be so great

If the most noticeably unc status frags are things that were bangers back in ‘07 to where 45 year old guys are still wearing them, does that mean that the styles of ‘70s and ‘80s scents will eventually work their way back around to being the new youth trend? Or will we see new stuff entirely?
EG: can I pull zoomettes wearing some Jovan Musk from ‘73, or should I just buy a sauvage dupe like everyone else?
Smelled fierce for the first time a few months ago and it holds up, desu

an ashkenazi if I ever seen one

Been to the store recently, tried cheapish blue frags the kind you gift to your dad, Beckham, Police, Bruno Banani etc. I have to admit some of them slapped, DB Classic Blue especially. Smelled nothing less than an expensive niche frag, like a good pair of jeans or a white shirt, you can't go wrong with it -type.
Much to think about.
>>
>>18593284
>if it was socially acceptable
It’s not?

I don't know how close Asad is. I've heard people say it's bang-on after the dry down, and I've heard people say they're nothing alike. I think it's close enough to the dry down of Elixir, but I've only sampled it, never owned a bottle.

Asad is less potent and less harsh for sure. I consider it a good modern alternative to Drakkar Noir for similar money. I don't really pick up any of the amber/vanilla and resins in Asad, to my nose it's dihydromyrcenol and pepper.

If you want a clone of Sauvage Elixir maybe consider it. If you want a modern barbershop fragrance with classically masculine DNA buy it for sure.
>>18589740
Overspraying Aventus isn't any better Anon. You'll just smell like a college fuckboy instead of an uncle.
>>1859271
CK Eternity, CK One, Bogart One Man Show, Le Male, maybe Drakkar Noir. Or flankers of those.

Basically any 90s stuff or stuff that was still popular in the '90s and 2000s if it was older, which is why Drakkar gets a mention.

40-year-old fuckboys are wearing a shit ton of Aventus though, so YMMV.
>>18593214
Unironically you should only care about what your girlfriend thinks. You're not gonna be complimented by random strangers over your fragrance often, unless that person happens to work in the service industry and they're being polite or trolling for tips. It's not exactly socially acceptable to openly comment on somebody's odour.
>>
>>18590392
They don't mean a thing. In theory they're supposed to refer to the concentration of fragrance compounds. But there's no regulation and there are plenty of EDTs that last longer than EDPs. It's all marketing nonsense which is why you see the flankers of Armani Code and SWY, and Sauvage use the different labels like that.

There are eau de colognes that lasted 10+ hrs before being reformulated.

The only one I would actually get a 50ml or 100ml of is GIT and even then I'm aware that there are better options for cheaper (not CW though only noselets find them to be the same)

posted some in 1st thread but for my taste: Xerjoff Torino22, AdP Fico di Amalfi + La Riserva, Houbigant Figuier Noir, MFK L'Homme A La Rose, Lorenzo Pazzaglia Black Sea, the Rothschild-approved Caron Le Soir, and Etat Libre D'Orange has some pretty cheap but decent frags like YOSLY and Fat Electrician going off european prices anyway

Has anyone tried out Montagne parfums which is a dupe house? I see that it's got a pretty good subreddit following but I can't tell if it's manufactured or not, not to mention it doesn't have any fragrantica pages either.

I was hoping to decant basically all their popular LV, PDM, and some Creed clones of theirs but I haven't seen much discussion about this besides reddit. any opinions/experiences?

Yeah I mean Lacoste Essential is a cheapie for sure, but it's a scent I enjoy. However, maybe an hour after application it's basically entirely gone. In a way that makes it nice for working in an office so I'm not blasting everybody else. But when I want that scent on me for social outings or dates it just feels lacking.

Just got a sample of the latest Tom Ford Black Orchid, Black Orchid Reserve. Overall leans slightly feminine and very similar to the original but with a stronger dark more toasted chocolatey gourmand and milky vanilla, reminds me somewhat of a coffee scalp scrub I use. it's pretty good but the Parfum/gold bottle version with its masc edge is still the best for the average anon here

Sauvage Elixir is a brown man fragrance. It's offensively strong, will stick on your clothes and there's only limited situations you can wear it. The dry down is better than the opening.
