>>18584641I'm poor should I get a clone ?
>>18584680I've been generally disappointed by clonesI would say elixir is worth it, it has very good performance so you won't spray a lot, and you can get it for around 120/60ml at discountersIf that's too expensive get another Sauvage. I disagree with people who say they don't have anything in common, Elixir is deeper and has some kind of licorice note I don't get from other flankers but it still definitely has the Sauvage dna
Saving this thread with an ACTUAL beastmode fragrance that will drop panties.
>>18584641What are everyone's thoughts on TF Black Orchid?
>>18585064I tried the entire line last week at the mall, I liked Le Parfum the best. It's the most masculine leaning of them all. Smells like a cocoa infused Grand Soir. The original is okay but it's a bit synthetic
>>18584939>"what the weird chemical strench?">"i cook meth in my bathtub, baby">panties drop
>>18584680Get a decant and spray tactically, you can stretch a 10ml for a few months.>>18585064Parfum is great, sort of an exotic dessert liqueur with a pungent floral element, and it is slightly more masculine than original like other anon said but still basically unisex so caution
Which one of these should be my next purchase?
>>18584680You should try this thing called a job, Romesh.Right after you've boarded the next flight back to Goa
>>18585064I like it. I think the Parfum is the best, from what I recall last time I smelled them.

can I pull off Dior Homme Intense even if I'm chopped?
>>18585149Le Male edt quite dated by now. Beau Parfum is a syrupy thick tropical, i couldn't see when I'd wear it. Elixir Absolu is good but it's tiktok'd to death, Scandal is good yet underrated
bit of a newfag to fragrances, this is my collection atm I'd say elixir, fahrenheit parfum and scandal JPG are all going to be attractive for foidsso far elixir is easily the best, smells fucking heavenly and lasts for days. fahrenheit parfum is boozy, sweet, masculine and generally stronger than the EDT to my nose, with the EDT being nice in its own petroleum leather way but it doesn't have a ton of projection or last very longscandal smells like caramel, nothing super deep but pleasant as for the others, sauvage EDP is safe, fresh and boring, everyone knows this shit. eau sauvage is really nice, probably best for spring summer, like a crisp apple soda and cut grass. I wouldn't call either of them particularly attractive though, although the latter could be if you're in an office environment
>>18585312>syrupy thick tropicalI put it as an option because I like coconut and tonka and heard it performed way better than the normal Le Beau, is it not the case?>tiktok'dEh I don't think that really matters>good yet underratedYeah I agree, which flanker is the best in your opinion?
>>18584641Looking for a new daily regular/office scent, just something I can throw on if I want to smell decent but not stand out. Thinking Prada L'homme, Allure homme sport eau extreme, BDC. Can I get some reccies in this idea please
>>18585433>smells fucking heavenly and lasts for daysDid I get a bad batch? I can't smell it anymore after 4-5 hours.
>>18585439shit lasted like 4-5 days for me, insane, but I've got dry skin and I'm a non-showering NEET hermit so there's that. could just be your skin type, although idk how much that really plays a part
>>18585444Maybe I go noseblind. A girl told me the fragrance stuck to her a couple hours after we shared a hug so idk. I do three or four sprays and it goes away fast but I think I have a problem with noseblindness
>>18585438BDC Parfum (not EDP or EDT) is the best imo when it comes to an universally inoffensive, classy, quality scent
>>18585433>eau sauvage is really nice, probably best for spring summer,Going to be my nest summer purchase. Got tired of Aventus
>>18585436>Le Beau Le ParfumIt's just too cloying for summer and too unusual a scent for winter or anywhere for me, whereas the EDT I can see some use for. but if you just want long-lasting coconut then yes go for it.>best Scandal flankerabsolutely Absolu because it's a slightly juiced up version of the original. Scandal Le Parfum has a strong geranium that I dislike in most fragrances/smells too mature, and I never tried the other>>18585438You've got the best there but some others>anything in the Azzaro Chrome line (very cheap)>Dior Homme EDT (good if dressed up)>Spicebomb Metallic Musk>Prada Luna Rossa Black ( dressed up but borderline dark/edgy)
This is what I own. I've been complimented on the sauvage many times but never the honey tobacco.
>>18585835I never get complimented when I wear Sauvage. Actually, no, sorry, one black woman in an elevator. That's it.
>>18585836LOL I got complimented mostly by black women as well. This was at a winery two weeks ago.
>>18585791>the EDT I can see some use for.Is the performance okay? I would actually rather have pure coconut + tonka rather than added tropical/pineapple notes but I'm scared the basic Le Beau won't perform well
What about ultra male how does it measure up to the other flankers
Prada L’Homme will be my next fragrance. Shit smells totally divine
>>18585838You niggas are really out here going to wine>>18586054ries? Seems kinda gay
I got the Sauvage EDT for free but I'm not crazy about it, feels to heavy for every day wearI also got Cool Water which I like much more and have gotten compliments on lol, should I go for Green Irish Tweed?
>>18586159I really love GIT, I don't know if it's generally seen as attractive but to me it's a very addictive scent, very masculine, suitable for every occasion
>>18585149Get this one

>>18585149I got the EDT and I regret it. Smells like luxury baby powder.
>>18587112that lavender and vanilla just smells like too many things. When I smelled it first time it reminded me of a cat litter brand
>>18584680I generally dislike clones, but Asad is a surprisingly good one; the majority of notes are present and the longevity is great with not so much synthetic smell. It's great value.>>18585149none of these. Either get Le Beau Paradise Garden or Scandal Pour Homme Absolu. If these four are your only options get the first Le Beau as a generic.

>>18588260Why not go for Le Beau, it has mainly coconut + that addictive tonka drydown
>>18588328Le Beau is OK. I read this is fresher and a strong salt note to balance the coconut is what got me interested
I am a proven sex haver (father) and I wear Versace Eros Flame because my wife likes it. Whats a nice, original, not overused scent I could add?

>>18588260I got this as a blind buy; it's a safe office / beach fragrance. Oddly smooth, but if you want a similar but slightly more synthetic version (still very good) get Fusion D'Issey Extreme. It's $28 on fragflex, but I consider it an excellent scent/value. easy linear warm metallic coconut with cardamom on top.

What is the point of this thread? To recommend the ten top seller frags to every single post asking for "recommendations"? Go to a store and ask someone for a frag to try. You'd get better results.Only teenagers and brownies think frags will get you laid. 95% of frags smell good, you're not getting more "female attention" wether you use dior sauvage or ultra niche 500 dollar fragrance that no one knows about, they both smell nice, no one cares. This thread is worthless, you nons should go back to TikTok

>>18589774i actually havent tried the edt, i did try platine prive but i couldnt smell it. i had ideal cool which was lovely but discontinued. getting l'homme intense tomorrow for test.
>>18589777You should always try the original. They're more often than not better than most flankers

>>18590090 >stop wearing performative male manipulator scents like The Noir 29 or Ombre Nomad and just get Zino by Davidoff to smell unique
>>18584641Can someone explain to me why some websites state longevity:EDT < EDP < ParfumBut whenever I see BDC or Sauvage people say exact opposite?
>>18590392Think of it as a rough guideline
>>18590392edt, edp, parfum refers to concentration percentages which does not always translate to better performance
>>18588728Is Eros Flame really Indian-tier? I like it, although I wish it was a little heavier on the light musky vibe and less vanilla wall-to-wallIs Sauvage Elixir too overplayed at this point, or just the mainline Sauvage? I like the idea, I like black licorice as a note, and people say it’s got a little bit of that old school piney quality, but normie enough to not smell like an 50 year old uncle. DESU, if it was up to me I’d wear Jovan Musk and other ‘70s pervert stuff, but I still want to come off normal out and about with women
>>18590418Actually, just checked the fragrantica for Deer Elixir, and I’m out, I really kinda despise nutmeg and cinnamon. Can’t explain it, just not the vibe.

>the musky-mossy drydown of Aventùs
>>18590418You should smell it in a store. I get zero cinnamon from it. As you said it's a piney licorice scent, a girl told me it smelled like an attractive shaving cream.
I couldn't get into SWY Intensely because the scent just reminded me of pic related. Are the other flankers less heavy on the hyper sugary chestnut?
>>18590628Maybe I’ll go down to the city earlier this weekend, hit the sephora I spend way too much time and some money doinking around with cheapies and niche stuff when I could just buy one or two nice designer crowd-pleasers and call it a day

What's the difference between le male elixir and absolu?
Is the red tobacco any good? What about the intense version?
What are the most nuclear mass pleasing frags? No niche
>>18591446Good for middleaged raunchy men
>>18591461It's "good" in that it tells everyone in your vicinity that you are wearing perfume. The scent itself is more 'hookah lounge' than it is 'fireside leather chair with a pipe'. The Intense is not necessarily stronger, but more complex and subdued. Same deal with Cedrat Boise Intense. I like both Intense flankers better than the originals, but then again I wouldn't buy a fb of any Mancera.
>>18591503Sauvage Elixir
>>18584641>>18591726How did Dior do it? This seems like the main character of men's perfumes
haven't checked /fa/ in years but I wanted to say that I adore "un jardin à cythère" by Hermès, probably the closest I felt to synesthesia with a scent, didn't buy it, but I like going to parfumeries once in a while to get a sniff, will buy it soon igs
>>18591801It's simply the perfect male fragrance
>>18592010yet it's not Green Irish Tweed
>>18592036You're right, it's not
>>18584680Don't get Asad, it has that spicy blast projection opening but it lasts only 15-30 mins and then drys down to a vanilla amber, which is not bad at all, but its not Sauvage elixir.Get Ighra'a from Ahmed Al-maghribi, it's the best bang for your buck Sauvage elixir clone out right now, really close to the OG, beastmode, projects amazing, and lasts 8-10 hours.
>>18592049Forgot to mention it's only $10-20 more than asad

What about female fragrances? I was thinking about buying one for my mother, but I need something that smells nice for her and others around. She is not that old, and I think she would like something floral, maybe fruity. Any good recs?
>>18592185Armani Sì Intense turns me into an animal but then again it has a lot to do with the girl who wears it

How is this cheapie? Really conflicting statements if it has good or average performance. Don't have this anywhere near me, might just blind buy because very cheap
>>18593149you still asking about this crap? I told you already, longevity is good on me but many people are less happy, and mainstream especially like this don't have a huge sillage, just overspray and you're good

>>18593214I jest but basically the notes on >>18593175lavender and rose in many usages evoke a kind of old people vibe and oud often adds some level of fecal funkiness or a middle eastern edge. So seeing those three together as the only notes makes me think it'd not be so great
>>18592746If the most noticeably unc status frags are things that were bangers back in ‘07 to where 45 year old guys are still wearing them, does that mean that the styles of ‘70s and ‘80s scents will eventually work their way back around to being the new youth trend? Smelled nothing less than an expensive niche frag, like a good pair of jeans or a white shirt, you can't go wrong with it -type.Much to think about.
>>18593284>if it was socially acceptableIt’s not?
>>18584680I don't know how close Asad is. I've heard people say it's bang-on after the dry down, and I've heard people say they're nothing alike. I think it's close enough to the dry down of Elixir, but I've only sampled it, never owned a bottle.Asad is less potent and less harsh for sure. I consider it a good modern alternative to Drakkar Noir for similar money. I don't really pick up any of the amber/vanilla and resins in Asad, to my nose it's dihydromyrcenol and pepper. If you want a clone of Sauvage Elixir maybe consider it. If you want a modern barbershop fragrance with classically masculine DNA buy it for sure.>>18589740Overspraying Aventus isn't any better Anon. Or flankers of those.Basically any 90s stuff or stuff that was still popular in the '90s and 2000s if it was older, which is why Drakkar gets a mention.40-year-old fuckboys are wearing a shit ton of Aventus though, so YMMV.>>18593214Unironically you should only care about what your girlfriend thinks. You're not gonna be complimented by random strangers over your fragrance often, unless that person happens to work in the service industry and they're being polite or trolling for tips. It's not exactly socially acceptable to openly comment on somebody's odour.
>>18590392They don't mean a thing. In theory they're supposed to refer to the concentration of fragrance compounds. But there's no regulation and there are plenty of EDTs that last longer than EDPs. It's all marketing nonsense which is why you see the flankers of Armani Code and SWY, and Sauvage use the different labels like that. There are eau de colognes that lasted 10+ hrs before being reformulated.

In a way that makes it nice for working in an office so I'm not blasting everybody else. But when I want that scent on me for social outings or dates it just feels lacking.
>>18600104Every god damn lacoste men's scents seem to suffer from shit performance. What a shame. I asked about lacoste l'homme flanker in different thread too because of it.
Just got a sample of the latest Tom Ford Black Orchid, Black Orchid Reserve. Overall leans slightly feminine and very similar to the original but with a stronger dark more toasted chocolatey gourmand and milky vanilla, reminds me somewhat of a coffee scalp scrub I use. it's pretty good but the Parfum/gold bottle version with its masc edge is still the best for the average anon here
What should be my next frag after Sauvage Elixir? is there even anything on the same level
>Yes I want to smell like a lebanese shisha lounge late at night
>>18601338maybe, but that shisha lounge be smellin good as hell at least
>>18601338Is this their ad? that's so tacky wtf
>>18601364Yes it's probably the best Kilian frag ignoring versatility >>18601676Not sure, I think it comes from either a blog or a perfume shop

>>18584641Sauvage Elixir is a brown man fragrance. It's offensively strong, will stick on your clothes and there's only limited situations you can wear it. The dry down is better than the opening.
