THE TUDOR bio: blackshield was born with a special power. he was a better chronograph than all the other watches in the swiss fighting academy. he served in the swiss military fighting omega and in the final battel against omega they were fighting and omega turned him to the darkness and blackshed turned against rolex and killed him. he lost part of his snowflake in the battle which is why he doesnt not have a snowflake hour hand, pls stop PMing me askin me why thats why. also snoflakes arent gurly fuk you grandseiko everyone knos ur a fuckin quartz scammer fagot likes: hurtin people, bein badass, timing motorcycle races, nine inch nails (the band), killing, death, punk rock, jinco jeans, skulls, darkness, hot gurls with big boobys who are sluts, short nails (on hand), snoflakes, red (cool kind not gay kind) dislikse: niceness, happiness, levis, grandseiko from japan fuck you seiko stop usin zaratsu finishing you peace of shit, trent razner, ninne inch nails (on finger), rolex (megga ass-faggot), sunshine, life, my dad (hans wilsdorf), glashutte

>>18589175It's TUDOR time.
Tudor is the Kirkland Signature of watches
>>18589173>TUDORfake and gay watch.looks like a budget knock-off of the far superior FROGMANTLE.
>>18589199>turns out these things are actually better than the originals that inspired themkeklol
>>18589173>one and done watchThat would be Rolex or Patek.I like Tudor though, especially the one you posted and the BB54.
>>18589173>cope watch >one and doneyou will never stop thinking about the GMT Master
>TUDOR thread Fucking finally.Sky High with Tudor. Post yours bros.
>>18589173Waiting for a v2 of the BB Pro that is slimer than 14.5mm.Hoping for new releases for the 100 years anniversary.
>>18589371I forgot, it's next year right? Well I guess I am waiting then to buy a new watch. Want to see what TUDOR is cooking
Is discussion about GS and Rolex allowed in the Tudor thread?
>>18589333>>18589339You are disgusting.
I can't believe how fitting an all black watch is with any outfit. 41mm and 14.4mm thick btw. TUDOR really pulled it off here.
>>18589783This is pure class.
>>18589326they also have a cool name
A Tudor is a poet's watch; a Rolex, a salesman’s pitch.
bump
>>18589173>Too poor for Rolex
I believe that picrel is the most tasteful chrono on the market
>>18589173Is it not a watch brand for people who can't afford a Rolex?
>>18592009>>18592144this mindset doesn't exist outside of /fa/, try to touch grass for once
>>18592145>this mindset doesn't exist outside of /fa/nigga thats literally the mindset of Hans Wilsdorf himself
>>18592145>>18592009>>18592144Arguments Pro "Tupoor" theory:>Cheaper than Rolex>Hans Wildorf manifesto for the brand>Many homages of old Rolex modelsArguments Against "Tupoor" theory:>Tudors doesn't get more sales than Rolex but way less, therefore their market is smaller and not a mass of poor people>Many watch collectors have both Rolexes and Tudors and don't get rid of the TudorsTo me, Tudor is the entry level Rolex in order for Rolex to keep its prestige. Which is not exactly cope but just entry level Rolex under another name. That's why Tudor doesn't get that many sales (1/4rth of units sold compared to Rolex); it gets sales that would correspond to the sale of 5K Rolex models if it was attached to the main brand.
The numbers of watches sold is weird tho.I've never seen that many Longines in real life.Maybe they sell a lot at airports and stuff.Seiko is around 5 millions watches a year and GS is around 100K watches a year.Casio around 30 millions watches a year.
>>18589173Tudorfags are cringe
>>18592144no, it's a watch for people who are too cheap for a rolexif you can afford a 5k watch you can afford a 10-15k watch and if you can't afford a 10-15k watch you can't afford a 5k watch
>>18592822>if you can afford a 5k watch you can afford a 10-15k watchTotally agree. Saving up 5K for a Tudor or 8K for a Rolex (OP or Explorer) is pretty much the same effort. It's the same kind of money.
>>18592822>if you can afford a 5k watch, you can afford a 10k watch>if you can afford a 10k watch, you can afford a 20k watch>if you can afford a 20k watch, you can afford a 40k watch
>>18592840>>if you can afford a 10k watch, you can afford a 20k watchNot the same at all. A lot of time you can push to 10K but 20K is waaaay to much. But 5K, if you say you can't save 3K more, you're not even trying.
The only reason Tudor exists is because Rolex wanted to jack up their pricing/exclusivity to Patek levels without losing their previous market
Can you richchads show what watch brands is the best for people with moneyok i have rolex on my list, anything else?
>>18589175Is the essay written on the lower half of the dial really necessary?
>>18589326based. tudorcels and rolexchuds on suicide watch.
>>18592894Baby first luxury: Rolex, OmegaNew Money: APCorporate (CEOs, Politicians): IWC, Jaeger LecoultreWoman or gay (but not gay woman): CartierActual wealth: F. P. Journe, Patek, Parmigiani Fleurier
I'll buy a Tudor the day they stop pendering to chavs and doing trash endorsements. I don't want to look anything like David Beckham and i don't want to give this has (never) been money. BTW Beckham never won anything in his career, at last chose someone who won a world cup.
>>18592739what kind of argument is this even, I am talking about people who are ALIVE
>>18589173>TUPOOR thread
>>18592757>Arguments Against "Tupoor" theory:>>Tudors doesn't get more sales than Rolex but way lessnot all diffusion lines are successful. tudor is definitely a diffusion line, just not a very successful one. why? because the only thing valuable about a rolex is the name. that’s it. make the exact same watch, and if it doesn’t say ROLEX on the dial, nobody cares. the value evaporates instantly.
Someone on wt once posted that the Tudor logo was the watch laughing at you for not getting a Rolex and it killed the viability of the brand for me
mini-sub is my grail watch, sorry not sorry
Looking at getting a Pelagos 39. What's a good price on a used one? Any sense buying new?
>>18594295Hey mate. My wife bought me one for my 30th birthday, I like it quite a lot. I bought it new (went with her) because I never intend to sell it, and the sentiment is nice when it is newer. The biggest thing I would say about getting it new over used it the brand new condition. The titanium will scratch easier than steel and the brushed finished hides the scratches on photos if you are buying online.
>>18594295I’ve seen them go for less than $6k Aud used
Bump.
>>18592935>I don't want to look anything like David BeckhamWhy would you lie like that
The new 36mm Rangers are pretty pretty (pretty) hot.
