I have noticed that this board does not really have its own brand of humor and does not really care for humor. I think I have noticed this in the fashion and art world in general.Am I way off base here or has anyone else noticed this?

/fa/ is a zombie board. when it was first launched in 2008 it absolutely had its own unique sense of humour and its own board specific in-jokes and memes. this continued to build and basically reached a peak around 2014. in fact you might not realize it but 2014 era /fa/ memes and jokes STILL randomly show up across the internet, most often on plebbit but I've seen them elsewhere. pic related. now i can't remember if the wojak standing in the corner meme actually started on /fa/ or not but the variant that's specifically about fashion and the fit the wojak is wearing all 100% came from peak 2014 era /fa/. and that's arguably the most popular variant of that meme that still gets reposted today. 2014 onward the board slowly begins to wither and die, obviously not immediately, 2015 still had jokes and memes and known tripfags etc but each year it got a little bit worse. today the board has been in decline for ELEVEN YEARS. its almost impossible to explain to someone new how far it's fallen. peak /fa/ had humour and jokes for days. in fact that was something oldfags complained about back then. that the board was TOO focused on jokes and humour and roasting and there wasn't enough serious fashion discussion. what you're seeing today is not a switch to that or something; the board is simply DEAD. you are viewing a ZOMBIE 4chan board which probably has less than 50 regular posters. it's not that there's no humour, there's no anything. the only exception is the general threads that like generals on other boards have their own weirdo insular communities that don't post anywhere except their own general. other than those guys the board is effectively dead.
