Do you even thrift, bro? Some beat-up Red Wing oxfords.
>>18598930Hobo-aura.
>>18598930you seem like a faggot
They're called beat-up cause that's what you're gonna get when I catch you with those ugly fuckers.
what fuckin size are those? like a 4?
>>18598930It feels so gross to wear someone else's shoes. The foot bed is broken in to their foot shape and they always feel strange when walking. Couldn't pay me to get some ratty old shoes from Goodwill.
Yes, I always thrift for vintage stuff makes me the most happiest person and you get one of a kind that probably doesn’t exist anymore or exist in some land filled like this 1970s dress!
>>18598930Get a job, put aside some money from your monthly paycheck and buy new shoes, because this is embarrassing.

>>18598930Some random 50 year old hobo used to have his feet inside those.
>>18598930Not much anymore, I just go to curated vintage stores.

picrel lookin ahh shoe
>>18598930>>18598993Do you often imagine like having another guy's feet in your face and like rubing his wide leathery soles on your face?
>>18598930A major appeal for wearing leather boots is getting to break them in, to your own feet. Really don't understand why anyone would want to thrift them. Doubt it's a poverty thing
>>18598988Uncertain 'moid sighting, Sire.
No, I want my clothes to be mine and tell my story.
>>18598930Almost all my clothes are thrifted apart from underwear and socks and a few items here and there.
>>18598930Spend a few hours cleaning/conditioning them. Get a buffer wheel and really give them a shine.
Thrifting sucks now. I started thrifting because my mom didn't have money and it's nice to have a larger selection than random hand me downs. I remember talking to some girl at a college party and she said "I thought thrifting was for poor people but you can actually buy some nice stuff". Since then thrift stores have raised their prices a lot. Especially any popular brand. A lot of pieces will have stains and holes but still overpriced. Some stores are better than others and I still go on occasion but it's a shell of what it used to be. Seems to me like one of those things people try to pretend is a hobby. Also people that want to wear worn and torn clothes but sit around all day.
Yeah but never for footwear. I never see shoes/boots that look promising, let alone in my size anyway.
