Yeah. I find it a very Hellenistic feature.
And I understand y2k jean cuts are back. . . but this is still effectively extinct nonetheless. This is mostly on account of high-waisted pants and the post-Kardashian idea of 'hourglass;' that of a very stark cartoonish hourglass. And because those who wear y2k jeans now are almost always only low-BMIs, who aren't in my view doing anything daring.
The notion of the very feminine mermaid/nymph physique is hindered by these tired instincts to have latina-porn proportions.
