Because it's always been about physical attractiveness. Not just the face, proportions are massively important and always overlooked. The average asian man is built like a teenage boy regardless if they are handsome in the face or not. Even a skeletal looking white guy will on average have far superior proportions to an asian man which is why even the heidi boys look good despite having what many erroneously perceive as a similar build to an asian. It's not about height either, Tom Cruise looks good because he has good proportions.
