how can achieve this old money styles ? toronto
You want to know something crazy? I live and work in a college town completely dominated by what is supposed to be an elite college. I wear simple OCBDs, blazers, trousers and loafers most of the time and I constantly get comments about how I’m dressed up. Standards are pretty much on the floor. If you show up anywhere in anything more than a hoodie and jeans/sweatpants you’re dressed up and thus standing out.
>>18607631Any kind of effort or intentionality will put you in the top 70% of people as far as dressing goes. Do it well, and you basically mog everyone. Remember, you are not overdressed. They are underdressed. Dress for the occasion, but realize that if everyone else looks like a slob, that doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.
This is true. Even just wearing a floral print smart shirt, chinos, and clean minimal sneakers is enough to put you head and shoulders above the crowd.
>>18607631Lol look at that repulsive jeet. You really can't polish a turd.
>>18607631That's a suit jacket

Wait, does putting on a sports coat mean I'll find more $100 bills on the street?
>>18607631>>18608062They are the same picture
>>18607631They smile and giggle at you because you stick out like a sore thumb by dressing like that in an era where most people walk around in a dirty t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants.
