My chest is about 42 inches. Hard to measure myself, but it's pretty close to being on the dot. Size chart for this aviator jacket says L constitutes between 40" to 42", while XL is 42" to 44". I'm not sure what size to go with. I usually buy XL in real life, but there are times where that's too large, but most of the time L fits just a little too snug and is too short in the sleeves and hem. It's a leather aviator jacket, so I'm thinking if it fits slightly large that's okay, no? I would rather it fit as close to perfect as possibnle, obviously. Being right on the dot measurement-wise is why it's made it near impossible for me to shop online for clothes, as I always have to try them on to make sure they fit right first. What do?

I'm more stocky than fat, which sounds like a cope, but I don't have any reason to cope to a bunch of faggots on 4chan. Just responding for sizing purposes. I'm not what most people would call fat. I have probably around an equal amount of fat and muscle. I plan to lose weight, though. Right now I'm 5', 11" and 195 lbs or so. You fucking assholes are gonna do your usual autistic projecting and continue to call me fat, but really all I want is an answer to my question. I see this as a robotic exchange of information. Please kill yourselves if you're not going to contribute to the thread productively.

For reference, build is closer to the image on the right than the one on the left.

Hateful little worm.

Just order both and return the one that doesn't fit.

Buy XL jackets and L shirts.
Also if you have less than an 8 inch difference between your chest and waist measurements then lose weight fatty

I wear 33 waist so I'm fine

buy XL it will look better. You want jacket/coats to have some breathing room to layer over other clothing, not be your exact body measurement
>I'm 5'11 and 195 lbs
But legit you DO need to lose weight, for your health if nothing else.

I do plan to lose weight. In my teens I was 165 lbs. My highest weight was during Covid/post breakup with ex basically wife at which point I was nearly 240 lbs. I was down to 168 lbs again a couple years ago. I can fast off like 15-20 lbs in a couple of months and I guess I should get on that.

If it is described as being roomy or not too tight, buying L should provide you with a nice fit.

Like these. w2c?

You really should check the measurements for the sleeves and shoulder width. As long as the chest measurement is close, those two are really what matters for a good fit in a jacket like that.

That is fat, 195lbs and 6'3 is where the natty limit for that weight and not fat is at. Your natty limit would be like 175lbs and not fat
