aka qtddtot aka questions that don't deserve their own thread, e.g.
>what jeans are these
>what does the number of my pants' size mean
>what heels do I buy for my hookup I don't know anything about shoes
>>
What is a good winter fit for 0-10 degrees (celcius)?
>>
honestly it gets old so quick i wish i didn't have all the tats that i thought that were cool at 18
unless you wanna live in berlin/nyc forever

Anything with a puffy jacket, ski jacket or scarf and overcoat.
The possibilities are endless and you're better off starting from a look, a piece or a mood and build the outfit from there.

I just want to look like a fashionable normie.

Sneakers of your choice, wide jeans, a wide white, charcoal or black t-shirt, a workwear looking overshirt and a stupid puffy long jacket.

How do I look fashionable at 5'6

why does this board let some weird schizo guy post here, why isnt the guy who takes over the workwear general and rants about 'pigslim' get permabanned?

why don't the mods ban this guy? Ruins half the board. Him and the weirdo guy with the japanese fetish and the lame citizen watch in the watch thread. Get rid of them, save the board.

are you talking about the man with the fetish for japanese business-men?

Cop or not?
>>
>>18611902
it can work with a sufficiently neutral or stylish suit. do not cop if you intend to wear it on its own.
>>
is anyone doing grey moleskin trousers that are cut like chinos instead of fucking jeans this year? all of the moleskin chinos ive seen havent been available in grey.
>>
What are some wool blend socks that aren't poly or nylon blends?
>>
>>18610399
because ban evasion is easy and everyone knows how to do it, unfortunately.
>>
is it possible to break in a horsehide leather jacket, and if the answer is "it is it just takes 15 years" then that's a no btw
>>
>>18612408
Are Peter Christian Loden Moleskin trousers grey enough for you? The color loden is actually "greyish green" but if you can't find anything else...

>>18613617
You're going to have to specify if you want
> no synthetics + wool + something else (hard to find, I think you're stuck with 100% merino or 100% cotton socks that rip easily due to lack of synthetics)
or
> synthetics + wool + something else (Falke climawool, Mazarin wool & cotton lisle)
>>
>>18613809
If I absolutely had to have something with synthetics I suppose I'd have to take it. Are there at least some with no polyester?
>>
>>18613837
Not sure if you're EU or NA but if EU:
Pedemeia has some 100% merino models or 100% cotton fil d ecosse.
On Zalando in the socks category you can select "Pure cotton" as a filter
If in central EU the German wholesaler wowerat.de has a few regular non-dressy models with even GOTS certified cotton and other 100% alpaca/wool, but you'll have to find a store that stocks them

It's this nuanced because nobody wants to sell 100% cotton socks and deal with customers complaining about holes

what cut are these pants?
>>
>>18614842
Tapered, cut 10cm too short.
>>
How do I cope with shoes being the right size length wise being too tight width wise?
>>
>>18615065
Some brands are known to have narrow lasts and some are wider. Sebago and Alden tend to be narrow for example.

Traditional leather shoe companies will specify the last width of a particular shoe model, e.g. F, G, EE etc.

You're probably talking about casual shoes anyway, but you just need to find a brand/model that suits you and stick to it.

If I want to go to hairschool and become a hairstylist, should I grow my hair as long as possible? Or cut it to suit my facial features as attractively as possible?

I keep going back and fourth between having nice, long hair, but knowing it doesnt suit me necessarily and drags my face down, or cutting it and having it suit my face better but it not being long and not being able to trim it myself anymore.
>>
>>18615515

My lost package turned up somehow. Should I cancel the claim I filed like an honest person would?

How much is getting a pair of dress shoes from the UK now with the tariffs and end of de minimus. Looking at a pair of Albert slippers but I'm afraid of getting raped by the import costs and the shipper fees.

>My lost package turned up somehow.
It happens in cold weather and when it gets warmer.
>>
>>18615656
Yes if you filed the claim with the shipping company or a smaller vendor. If it's amazon it's not worth the effort.
>>
What color do I want a pair of penny loafers?
I would pair them with dressed down suits and occasionally dark blue sweatpants.
I'm torn between mid brown and very dark brown.
>>18615684
I believe tariffs for importing goods in the US are around $50 per package + VAT.

I need help finding more raglan coats like this. Something with this relaxed silhouette, simple collar that doesn't demand too much attention, and just an overall simple look. And 100% wool of course. I was hoping to find this one secondhand for a decent price but can't find it anywhere.

unlined, suede, leather sole loafers/chukkas? go rubber if wanna sacrifice breahtability for rain traction/light offroad. suede and nightclub may be a bad combination lel

>>18620340
Doek?

>>18620425
You're most likely to find something like this by looking for a wool "mac" or "car coat". I think the archetype would be Mackintosh Dunkeld (the loro piana wool version) and then try to go from there. Maybe ask in the Styleforum overcoat thread too.

The Minnesota Overcoat from Percival you posted calls your pic a "trench coat" which kinda shows that manufacturers don't really give a fuck and call it what they want. The collar is called a prussian collar. Good luck.

I'm making a wardrobe. Here is what I'm thinking right now:

White Oxford Shirts x3
White Long-sleeves x2
Black, Light x2, Dark Grey x2 Sweatshirts
Black, Olive Flannels
Khaki Cargos
Navy Chinos
Black Jeans
Light Blue Jeans

Is this good? Should I add or replace anything?
>>
>>18620583
not a fan of white oxford, light blue is more versatile imo, keep 1 white one if u really want but in general theres also university stripe, pink, yellow (just go to /tip/ ok)
why do you need 5 sweatshirts
navy chinos is big retarded, just get khaki
>>
>>18620591
1 sweatshirt for every day of the week
the shirts are just for layering. they won't ever be worn alone
whats wrong with navy chinos?

How do I cop this sweatshirt and avoid telling it's from an hentai artist OC?
>>
>>18620716
That's a very standard pentagram with Baphomet's head. You don't ever have to mention it's from hentai, most people will just think you're an edgy satanist.

I want formal dress shoes that can be worn to a funeral, wedding, court hearing, etc. but can also be dressed down for, say, a fancy date. And although this isn't necessary, if at all possible, I'd like them to be easy to just slip on and off. Would the Meermin 514045s be at all possible for this?
>>
>>18620892
an angry man on a menswear forum would say no, but given today's relaxed formality standards I guess you could stretch it
it's hard to contain your autism trying to find the perfect shoe which will sort of work in all the scenarios. can't you get some 2nd hand black oxfords for dirt cheap (ebay or local thrift shop) alongside the meermins?

>>18620593
>what's wrong with navy chinos
nothing inherently, it's just not the first color you pick when you build a wardrobe from the ground up - https://www.permanentstyle.com/2014/03/trouser-colours-to-wear-with-odd-jackets.html (notice that navy is no 5)

By "sweatshirt" I hope you don't mean those 100% cotton American-style athletic crew neck sweaters? You don't layer ocbds under that

I mean this:
https://a.co/d/iDQLYfU
>>
>>18621050
I thought about that. I personally think it's a stretch as well, and for occasions where it would be explicitly formal, I might just rent the oxfords or something. My idea is to just own a minimalist collection of three, versatile pairs of footwear - everyday/running sneakers, smart/business casual/winter boots, and formal/smart/business shoes. In the first place, owning a pair of shoes that one only wears maybe 2 times a year just seems a bit of a waste.

This looks goofy af layered with a shirt, just get a lambswool crew neck from Uniqlo. Don't get the cashmeres because it's dogshit cheap cashmere
>>
>>18621238
I'm poor. I need to demonstrate that I'm highly competent with very little money. I can't buy Uniqlo, I have to get Amazon.
>>
>>18621273
Ah that's fair. Still, reconsider getting a wool sweater - going 2nd hand and buying e.g. two instead of five. You won't be washing wool as often as cotton so you can reuse. Layering shirts under a cotton terry sweatshirt doesn't convey what you're going for in my opinion
>>
>>18621273
If you're too poor for Uniqlo, you need to go back to school, my friend. There is literally no secret to how to earn money, and it's education.

i have a schott horsehide i use for riding my motorcycle and it started to loosen up after about three weeks worth of riding. I've seen people spray the outside of their jackets with water and then wear them around to speed it up. but also if it's a heavy ass thick leather jacket it's going to take a few months of dedicated daily wear
