That’s the downside of pretty privilege. It’s nice to get free drinks, but you can never turn it off. That’s by design. Models need to look good with a neutral facial expression. If they smile, the human eye will naturally be drawn to that and away from the clothes they are ostensibly advertising.
They are in a paradoxical position of having to be stunning but also anonymous.
(Obviously, the famous supermodels are marketing campaigns in and of themselves so the rules are a little different for them.)
