Endgame Watch - Edition.

Post your will-be endgame-watch. Did you already buy it? Tell us more because:
This thread offers a forum to discuss and debate wristwatches, pocket watches, and clocks. Several members here are highly knowledgeable in specified areas of horology, so please contribute to the thread by asking questions and/or asking for advice if you are planning on purchasing a watch from an AD or the grey market. Please post pics of your watches here; it doesn't matter if it's worth 5$ or 50000$, because there might be someone who wishes to eventually purchase the same model that you own and would love to hear some real-world advice regarding ownership. The experience matters the most, not the price.

Everyone is welcome in this thread, because we are all Frens here.

I like collecting watches, but, as many before me, I reached the conclusion that I don't want to regularly wear more than three watches. In fact, I end up wearing pic related for the vast majority of the year. So much so that other watches feel "off" to me. When I hear or read or think "watch", I associate it with the feeling of the white birch. It's probably a sign of me having found what I'm looking for in life and have no need to look no further.
I still enjoy reading and talking about watches, about innovations or clever designs, but I stopped thinking of acquiring another one.
Friends of mine have done kinda the same. One is wearing his Tank and Santos back to back while he owns at least 30 watches in his collection, another one is wearing exclusively his orient, and I haven't see another friend of mine wear anything but his panerai carbon for at least 6 months now.
Is that what "exiting the game" feels like?
I only wear my moser on special occasions and my tudor when I'm doing rough things like mountain hikes or sports.

>Is that what "exiting the game" feels like?
Probably, yes. You stop thinking about the 'next' watch all together and just observe from the sidelines as more and more watches are being churned out. You need one watch that's comfortable and fits your lifestyle and however many extra watches you like as a bonus, to spice things up a bit. 3 as you said is plenty.

It's not my favorite style but it's kind of cool. If it's made with good parts I'd pay a couple hundred for it. It looks nice in the picture but I'd have to do more research on it. So many look nice and then you find out they're made for $2.
It's got something going on above the date. And I see some dings. Looking closer it looks used. I don't think I'd want it.
>>
>>18615205
Yes, because Rolex is one size fits all.

What's your endgame watch?
>>
>>18615553
Citizen, not just a Citizen, THE Citizen.
>>
Is there any cure to your watch slipping lower on your wrist and then flopping around down there?
>If I put it low on my wrist and adjust the bracelet for that, I can't even move my wrist properly
>If I put it higher where it makes sense, I can either make the bracelet uncomfortably tight and suffer, or make it comfy but then I will experience the good old falling and flopping after like 30 minutes of walking or doing stuff
>>
>mechanical watches are cool because they have a sweeping seconds hand
Oh really? But they pretty much never get the seconds right due to their low accuracy. So what's the point?

What a life! I'm so envious of you. And if I had such cool watches and drank coffee I'd constantly share it with 4chan too. Just to confirm my own existence. I'd have a cup, change watches, go to a diner and get another coffee, maybe a cold one, and then take another picture of my wrist with new coffee and a different watch. Gotta keep everyone on /fa/ aware of my watches and my coffee. I really need to get a life. There must be more to it than this.
>>
>>18616132
One of the reasons why I got into watches is because I unironically don't have the... time for most other hobbies these days.
This hobby goes with me where ever I go, no matter how busy I am. I just look at my wrist and I feel good.
While I am not a kofe poster myself, I totally get them. If I was having a little kofe break, I might as well take a pic of it and my watch, then share it with my bros on 4chan.
Such little joys make life better.
>>
>>18616118

This is my endgame watch. Sadly, it's not water-resistant because there's no gasket. However, this can be fixed to some degree, and the inside of the watch looks brand new. It gains +30 seconds a day, and the date range is only from 1980 to 2019.
